Beautiful peaceful getaway! We spent the weekend celebrating Christmas and let me say this place was decked out with decorations. Had everything we needed and much more!

This home was just as described- clean, furnished, decorated. Adequate provisions in the kitchen (dishes, cookware) and bathrooms (towels, shampoo, body wash). Beds were very firm, which I like, but family members didn't. Master bedroom on the first floor with additional bedrooms upstairs was perfect. Teen kids had the upstairs to themselves. Loved the local decor- bourbon barrel table and stools, wall decor, large mural, wven the shower curtains. Confirming other reviews- area is noisy with interstate and plane traffic, back alley was dark, cluttered, and seemed unsafe, but we had no actual problems. Well worth the money.

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

We love staying in the Highlands when coming to Louisville, it never disappoints. This space lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Ed’s home was spacious enough for our big group and the pups enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with necessities (including coffee!), and there was lots of space. The off street parking is always a bonus in this area of town but we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the street was. Many of Bardstown Rd favorites were within walking distance, including restaurants and shopping. We hope to stay here again on our next visit and appreciate the hospitality.

4 life-long friends looked for a quick get-away. This home was perfect. Quiet, cozy, roomy and had every amenity you can think of and beyond! We wished we were able to stay longer than 2 nights. Our favorite being the hot tub and the fireplace :-) :-) Ellen was extremely helpful and responsive with any question.

Cottage 37 was a fantastic place for a girls' trip! We felt very much at home as soon as we walked in. We enjoyed the outdoor area every night overlooking the lake and loved seeing the lake covered in fog every morning. The kitchen was great to cook in, as was the grill. All around, a great place to stay!

Beautiful place- very spacious and lovely scenery. Kitchen facilities top notch and very comfy and homey. Large bathroom either plentiful towels and fantastic laundry facilities. Ticks off all the boxes! Will definitely stay again!

Perfectly cozy riverfront cottage! Great location, beautiful view (sunrises can’t be beat), very clean and well stocked/organized. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend.
