Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Crescent City

I booked a weekend for my mom who wanted to celebrate her birthday somewhere. I could not physically be there unfortunately but it was so awesome to hear how excited she was about the idea. She loved her stay. It was everything she wanted and needed. The previous reviews around concerns with noise or the saw mill, I didn’t even bring that up to her nor did she even mention it. Thank you Donna!

The place was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and clean, and met all expectations. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and a short walk to beach access. About a 7 minute drive to all of the restaurants and activities around the area. Check-in and check-out were very easy, without a giant laundry list of household stuff to do before checking out. Didn’t need much of anything from the host, but the one time I did message them they answered right away. My only knock is that the master bed was pretty uncomfortable; overly soft and no support. Wife and I both up with sore backs most mornings. But other than that, no complaints! Very comfortable and nice place overall.

The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could need. High end appliances and a great selection of spices etc. The 2-person hot tub was already heated and ready to go. Well decorated and lots of interesting knick knacks to examine. Highly recommend.

Had a great time at Shawn’s place even though it was a rainy weekend! The views from the patio were gorgeous, and it was conveniently located by a few great restaurants. The house had so many cute and cozy touches, it was such a joy to stay in. Very pet friendly as well! My little corgi had the best time.

The Swell House in Brookings, Oregon, was a great base for exploring the beaches and national parks. Despite the constant rain, we enjoyed our stay. Jessica was a fantastic host – friendly and attentive. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed. The covered garage was a huge plus in the rain. We were disappointed we couldn't use the adorable outdoor space because of the weather, but it looked very inviting. We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommend this airbnb.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The space is incredibly spacious with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The view is breathtaking – whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or winding down at sunset, the scenery from the windows and balcony is unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and beauty. We’ll definitely be back!

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The highlights were the sunsets on the porch, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, and walking down to the beach from the property. Hands down one of the best vacation experiences ever!
