Bradley's place is a great find! Very close to Wintergreen. The beds were very comfortable. Also, all of the amenities were great. It was a wonderful stay!

Our group had an amazing stay at this charming cottage! Jaclyn, the host, was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect home base. The location was simply stunning, offering peace and natural beauty. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Great stay in a comfortable home close to the slopes at wintergreen (short drive). Close to multiple hiking trails. Detached garage was a great hangout spot! Kitchen setup is a little odd - refrigerator is down the hall in laundry room - which isn’t a problem necessarily but does make cooking a little harder. Tania was a very responsive and helpful host. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Wintergreen!

The Empty Nest was a peaceful escape for our family of 8. Plenty of open space around the home, a spacious in the living room for family games, and a well-equipped kitchen that met our needs. The hot tub and fire pit are excellent amenities to the home. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs! I highly recommend this stay.

Lora’s space was even better than we expected, with a well equipped kitchen for cooking, quality coffee station, heated bathroom floors and a comfortable king bed to name a few things that stood out! Not to mention the outdoor hot tub with a view of the mountains in the distance! We were close to Happ Coffee, within 30 minutes of downtown Charlottesville, Wintergreen Ski Resort and Spa, and the highway 151 strip that’s packed with breweries, cideries and lots of hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway! We thoroughly enjoyed our girls getaway for New Years, would stay here again and highly recommend this spot for a cozy mountain getaway.

Oliver and Natasha were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We stayed here for one night as we made our cross country trek with our animals and they worked with us and communication was above and beyond! Highly recommended. Very beautiful cabin in a great area with lovely views! Saving their place and look forward to coming back! Cabin was extremely clean, everything well kept and in order. Jacuzzi was amazing. This place felt like the log cabin i've always wanted. King size bed in separate bedroom was great! Thank you Oliver & Natasha!

this was our fourth time staying at Sally and John's cabin, and as usual we felt right at home curling up by the fire. We appreciated that since we've last been at the cabin they upgraded the heater in the bedroom (definitely helpful as it got very cold out second night!) and added a full bed in the upstairs loft (a great place to sleep, including a nearby outlet, if you're too hot). We love coming here and would love to come back! 😃

This was outstanding! Our family made great memories here. From the board games, to cooking breakfast and dinner together, to waking up to the sunset, this lodging had more than we could ask for. Thanks so much, Robert! We will be back for sure.

Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Absolutely beautiful property! Very private, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trails with our dog and since we had mostly rain, relaxing in front of the fireplace reading and listening to music. We did venture out to walk the Chessie Trail, see the Natural Bridge, cross the James River on the footbridge, and check out Lexington downtown area. Would love to come back in another season. Thanks for being pet friendly!

Everything was great for a nice weekend getaway. Very private, the dogs were able to run through the woods with no worries. We decided to drive to the wineries which were about an hour away. The deck and fire pit were perfect to watch the sunset over the valley! The gas stove wasn't working but he had a nice electric burner to cook on. Overall the place looked very new and was very clean!

Wonderful cabin! My husband and I and our three boys ages 8, 6, and 1 had the best time at this cozy and peaceful cabin. Comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels and very clean kitchen. We loved the wood stoves and campfire pit out back. Had the best long weekend in the mountains and lucked out with perfect Fall hiking weather. We were sad to leave and would love to come back again!

Cook's Cabin was perfect for our family and large enough to accommodate all 10 of us. It is a very clean & comfortable home, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It was also very family friendly with plenty of activities for the kids. Heidi was a very thoughtful host and there were ample supplies of all the basics. She even included everything needed to make s'mores at the firepit, as well as hot chocolate mix and candy canes. We will definitely book with her again.

If you are looking to have a private, and peaceful place this cabin is what you should consider to stay in. Been there three times and will go back there again.

Great stay here and Bryan was really accommodating when we booked the stay last minute upon deciding to extend our Christmas holiday and take another day off after visiting family. We brought our two dogs with us. It’s a beautiful secluded spot - perfect for relaxing. The grill was perfect too and we used the charcoal side to make burgers one night. We enjoyed an outing to Blue Mountain Barrel House to have a beer and lunch by the fire pit in the cold weather.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and well stocked and in a great location. Very easy check-in and check out process with easy to follow instructions. Hosts were very responsive, would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. and was easy to find. & no stairs to enter. We stayed 7 nights in one day and most mornings; We brought some DVD/Blu-ray kid’s movies to help entertain our almost three year old; he was fascinated by the spiral staircase and we went up a few times but spent most of our time on the main level. A cozy retreat, two bathrooms and two bedrooms with king size beds on the main level. Convenient supplies, spices, coffee & a pantry supply that could of helped in a pinch. I made pancakes and used the blender to mix it up, I also used the blender to make a cake & baked it in a bread pan, pot holders are on the side of refrigerator. Everything we used worked well, we didn’t use the fireplace; The A/C & ceiling fans were great. There’s some board games and movies too. We hope to come back again sometime Highly recommend.

This is a great home in beautiful Wintergreen. Sarah was responsive and wonderful to work with from the booking, during our stay, and upon our departure. Would recommend this home to families looking for a getaway to the mountains!
