Amazing Stay at Fahim’s Place! I recently stayed at Fahim’s place in Colombo, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a hassle-free stay. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Fahim was an outstanding host, always responsive and ready to assist. I highly recommend Fahim’s place to anyone visiting Colombo and would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

We had an excellent stay. The space was clean and perfect for our family of 4 with two children. Views were amazing and the building had great amenities 24hr door staff made things very easy Minimal clutter and lots of space for our bags. Supermarket just across the street and lots of tuk tuks around all the time. Highly recommend, Host was very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again , when we are back in Colombo

Jayantha kept in touch with me for any need from check in to check out. I stayed with my family for 1 month. The house is great for staying with family. I wanted to stay for 1 more month, but I couldn't due to some personal problems. Jayantha is a very good person. He gave me many concessions. I apologize and feel sorry for you Jayantha. From this place, everything is very close to super market, local market. You can go anywhere in Colombo quickly. It is an amazing feeling to stand on the balcony of the house and see the sea. Finally, I will say, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Jayantha for your cooperation.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property was exactly as described in the listing (if not better!) and spotlessly clean. The location of the property perfectly located for whatever needed to do. It is about 50 meters from the main road, so you don't hear the noise from the main road. It was incredibly convenient and made exploring a breeze. The nivanka/nadee were incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. There was a full time care taker at the property and the Shanika - property manager was very helpful. Whatever questions were resolved over a text message I truly felt at home during my stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area, and I would love to stay here again the next time. Thank you, for such a memorable stay!

Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

This is my second stay within three weeks. That’s said it all. The accommodation itself is like at home. Great restaurants nearby and with good transport link. Top it all, the host is very helpful and always treated you like his friend. Thanks for all your help Ranjit (Osh’s dad). Looking forward to staying at yours next time.

Great play to stay and see the real sri-lanka. Velu & Charminder who look after the house and are on hand for pretty much anything are very friendly and helpful and were great for explaining how things work in Sri Lanka. The house is roomy, the garden is lovely - we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Thank you

This large villa is set in beautiful gardens right on the lagoon. You cannot fault the service and friendliness of Saja the housekeeper. We met the owner who was in Sri Lanka at the time of our visit and had another property nearby on the beach side. The villa is Sri Lankan homestyle and spotlessly clean. You need to take a tuk tuk to the beach to watch the sunset and get dinner. Saja will arrange this for you. This cost approximately 2,500 rupees return. (The driver waits for you). We were only here 1 night, arriving early morning from our flight from London. An excellent and very reasonably priced layover.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb on our wedding night, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was even bigger than we expected, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What made it even more special was the host’s warm and welcoming nature—she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like a home away from home. We loved our stay at Samudra house and can absolutely recommend it, especially with kids. In our six weeks in Sri Lanka, it was one of our favourite stays. It was everything we wanted it to be: - Beautiful house, just as described and shown in the pictures, generous rooms, big garden, great pool. - Between about 11 and 1, the pool was in the shade of a hotel, which we loved, since it allowed the kids to be in the pool during the hottest hours of the day without having to put on sun lotion. A big plus, in the kids and our opinions. - Beautiful beach with a very friendly and relaxed vibe within 2 minutes walking distance. - Various beach restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance - Three big grocery stores within 10 minutes walking distance. - It was the only airbnb house in Sri Lanka without a caretaker, which we appreciated, since we felt like having the house to ourselves. - It is really close to Colombo, we did two day trips to get to know Colombo.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. We had no issues during our visit . Added extras like tea/coffee, crackers , chocolate biscuits, soft drinks & bananas were a sweet touch . Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The apartment was really great. Everything was as described and you just felt at home. Kanishka answers super fast and helps immediately. The pool on the roof is really a highlight. We would love to come back.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

Stayed with 2 other people. Tamara was a great host. She was very helpful and communicative. She was particularly helpful as we navigated our airport cab driver who needed additional directions. You get what you see in the photos on the listing. A note for people with big bags or luggage: you will have to use stairs to get to the rooms (one room is on the 2nd floor along with the kitchen and dining, and the other two are on the 3rd) The rooms had towels and linens, comfy beds, although could do with a bit more dusting prior to people checking in. Tamara left bottled water for us in the fridge as well, which we appreciated. You will have all the basic necessities. While it's not a major issue, we were surprised by the open holes in the bathroom showers. They are high enough to give you privacy, but open out into the side of the building with no screen or cover. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a safe place to sleep and leave your things, as you explore Colombo.

Our family of four enjoyed Vasanty’s place so much. The view is amazing and there’s so much natural light into the apartment it was lovely. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. A couple of minutes to the beach, and lots of restaurants close by. We felt very safe and the security guard was lovely and very helpful, including getting us tuktuks when needed. The infinity pool was great and we had the place to ourselves. The pool chair cushions and gym probably need an upgrade but minor issues in comparison to all the positives.

Absolutely loved this place! If there was anything higher than 5 stars, we could have given that rating. Everything about the place is perfect. Recommended for everyone to stay here on their vacation in Sri Lanka.
