Five stars! I can’t say enough good things about this property! It was clear from the start that our satisfaction was the #1 priority. Renting a property can be high adventure, but our minds were set at ease from the beginning. Throughout, communication was excellent and proactive…and friendly. Every question was patiently answered and in a timely manner. We are so glad that we selected this amazing property. We definitely recommend!

This was lovely home with all the amenities! I mean they even had cleaning supplies! Enough space for my family and they enjoy the games during our down time! We had a death in the family and Christian was so understanding with my mishaps with the reservation and check out time. I really needed that being I was so beyond out of it due to the sudden news. Easy to find location, quiet and peaceful! I could go on and on but I would highly recommend this house! Thanks again Christian we will definitely be back if you will have us!

I’ve used Airbnb for 8 years and this is easily the best property I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway close to all that Tuscaloosa has to offer. You feel like you are in Maine or the Smoky Mountains. Carla and her team have created something special!

Gregory was super responsive and very accommodating. Me, my wife, our four kiddos, and our three dogs found the house homey. We came into town for Winter Jam and didn’t want the long drive home afterwards. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. My wife and I took a walk in the nearby Avondale Park. It was perfect for our purposes. Would stay again if in Birmingham.

Mark was awesome, he is a great communicator and quick to respond. The house was nice and big enough to accommodate our two families with two kitchens, several bed rooms, restrooms, relaxing areas, nice porch and patio with outdoor lighting. Next time we are in Montgomery, Alabama we will definitely be staying at Mark's place.

We picked Gordon’s place to stay for my son’s All-State Orchestra Festival. Rehearsals and the performances were held at the University of Alabama and the home was super convenient to the university with easy access to stores and restaurants. We loved the home. Every bit of the home was decorated beautifully and super cozy. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and linens! The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. We cooked two meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and store our food. Such a great stay and will definitely plan to stay again!

Pros: close to shopping and freeways, beautiful views, clean, peaceful, and private parking. Responsive host and separate owner living on-site never bothered me, in fact I never saw him after the first day. Cons: home is gated but back of home is not usable for kids or dogs due to being set on the cliff. Dogs were very safe in front but still had to watch them. Kitchen was quite small but worked for what I needed it for. Overall great home, I'd stay again.

This was our second stay at Lavender House because we love it! The location is secluded & peaceful but with an easy straight shot to town. The furnishings are high quality- you will have a luxurious stay. The grounds are lovely with some fantastic outdoor spaces. Your hostess is extremely considerate, and might supply you with drinks, snacks and fresh fruit. Check-in and check-out could not be easier. The keyless entry is super convenient. Cannot say enough about this great property and its kind owner.

This was my first visit to Birmingham, and I was initially a bit apprehensive. However, staying at this place truly made me feel at home. The property felt very safe, the host was excellent, and the space was impeccably clean. It had everything I needed for daily life, with convenient parking options available. Additionally, there are multiple restaurants and a Publix just a few minutes away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Steve was a wonderful host who responded to all of my messages within a timely manner and with a solution in place. The home was very comfortable and was better than expected. The pics didn't do it enough justice. I requested additional accommodations and Steve was very helpful. I would definitely stay in Steve's place again!

We gathered at this beautiful property to honor my late father-in-law on what would’ve been his 80th birthday. It was the perfect location for us all to get together and spend time talking about old memories and making new memories after 8 months without him. So much space! So much to do! The kids kept themselves busy every day between the theater, game room, and outdoor area. TVs everywhere which was perfect for game day! The hosts checked in on us via messaging and were quick to respond when we reached out to them with questions. This was a great home and experience... We will be back!

we LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this beautiful home. My family has stayed here multiple times and have ALWAYS had a great experience. The view is simply beautiful and peaceful. The home is nicely laid out with plenty of space and privacy for each room. There is certainly a 'wow' factor when you walk into the living area. A nice flow. Close to town but feel like you are miles away. Thank you Stewart for all the details placed in your home and for always going the extra mile.
