Vacation rentals in Clay

This was lovely home with all the amenities! I mean they even had cleaning supplies! Enough space for my family and they enjoy the games during our down time! We had a death in the family and Christian was so understanding with my mishaps with the reservation and check out time. I really needed that being I was so beyond out of it due to the sudden news. Easy to find location, quiet and peaceful! I could go on and on but I would highly recommend this house! Thanks again Christian we will definitely be back if you will have us!

The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

This was truly a home away from home. loved the simplicity yet detailed decor and arrangement. Carol was very friendly and responsive. This trip made our Christmas perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful get away! Monica’s cabin is literal perfection. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. We hope to make a trip back some day!

What an incredible experience! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. The views over the river were amazing. The property is awesome too. Case Rock and Fishing Rock were both great spots to hang out by the river. Don’t miss the waterfall right near Fishing Rock. The Shire/Rivendell area were like something out of movie. It was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The trails are all relatively short and attainable for anyone but great exercise and the property is pretty enough that you won’t get bored with multiple trips around it. We loved relaxing with the doors and windows open at the cabin after a hike. And we grilled twice a day and did a fire every night. You have to get the pizza kit and make your own pie. The cookies are the bomb too. Cannot wait to come back!

What a great place to stay! We enjoyed fishing in the ponds and feeding the farm animals. The host always responds quickly and has provided all the things you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay again!

Dave and Pat’s place was absolutely great for us! It was incredibly helpful to be able to dock our boat in their boat house. Dave personally helped us check in and show us everything we needed. They provided a golf cart to get us to and from the boathouse. It was a beautiful view from their patio. It’s not far from the Smith Lake Marina to launch your boat and drive over. At the house, they provided everything we needed. Dave was a fabulous host to us! We will absolutely be staying again!
