Felt like home. We stayed at Braes Retreat for four weeks and we loved every minute. The location is great for travelling around Skye as it’s pretty central but it still has that quiet isolation that most people come to Skye looking for. The house has everything you need, it’s very clean and comfy and Iain and Ingrid are great hosts to help you out with any issues. As all the other reviews say, the garden is spectacular, the views are beautiful and it’s generally a really lovely place to stay.

Perfect property and location for a quiet get away. Clean and has a well equipped kitchen with books and media equipment to entertain too. Grant accommodating to our requests and everything is communicated and explained well.

A lovely cottage that made us feel right at home! The views were stunning, amazing to wake up to and enjoy a coffee with!

We had an amazing week on Skye at Catriona’s property. The location was perfect for exploring the whole island, as well as being so convenient for supplies. We could not recommend this highly enough, the property ticked every single box for us and our two dogs.. We will definitely be back to Skye, so would definitely book this property again.. xx
