Such a fun home to stay in. Constant talking points when admiring all the Retro decor. Hot Spa was awesome and well situated in the garden for ambience. Games room with snooker table gave us something extra and different to do when it rained. Awesome view of the harbour from upstairs. Easy walk to shops and main Waterfront. Plenty of options for crockery and cutlery. Retro heater worked well to warm upstairs from the unusual "feels like 1 degree" weather! We did not get to use the fireplace.

The Sumner location was great for access to the beach and hiking trails. The place was very clean and spacious for the two of us. Megan responded to a couple of questions I had immediately. Highly recommended

I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before our wedding and it made a wonderful backdrop for our wedding photos. Beautiful home, very spacious and had everything we could have possibly needed. Great communication from the hosts and the house was lovely and tidy. Would love to stay again!

Shaun and Vanessa were absolutely lovely hosts. The breakfast was delicious and the hot tub is a must. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at!

We have just had the most incredible holiday staying at Anji’s place in Cass Bay. The location was so peaceful and serene. The house was perfect for our family of four (teenage children) and our doggie Morphy. It was the most relaxing and restorative holiday we’ve had as a family. Lots of sleeping in, reading books, playing board games, swimming in the bay, walking to Lyttelton, kayaking, BBQs and blissing out in the spa pool. Thank you so much Anji :)

Vicky’s cottage is absolutely AMAZING, it’s even better than it looks in the pictures! Vicky was incredibly friendly and gave us plenty of great recommendations for things to do. The cottage itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more). Bed is SO comfy that I didn’t want to wake up. Her garden is absolutely stunning as well. And we had so much fun looking at Mary, fat Jumbo and Sardine playing and eating in the garden. I highly recommend staying at Vicky’s place, and I’d love to come back, hopefully with better summer weather next time! Unfortunately, our stay in Christchurch was short, and the cold, rainy weather didn’t let us do everything we had planned.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at Birdsong, the house is so lovely and has everything you need. Watching the milky way and shooting starts from the hot tub was a real treat, and Tanya was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again, thank you so much!

I had a great stay! It truly felt like home, with the cozy decorations. It was so thoughtful of Mandy and Kim to put up the Christmas decorations and provide goodies. There was plenty of space for the whole family, and the outdoor area was perfect for the kids to run around. The beds were very comfortable, and the towels were incredibly soft. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was great since we cooked for Christmas. Overall satisfactory.

Wendy's place was just lovely. We stayed 4 nights. It was spotless, quiet, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Everything needed was provided- utensils, kitchen appliances, extra linen, kitchen supplies, toiletries etc. There was a lovely basket of treats on arrival as well. Wendy was super responsive and helpful. She also allowed us to check in early which was great. The townhouse is very quiet and felt safe. It was also a walkable distance to town. We thought it the best Air BnB we have stayed at. Thanks, Wendy.

The place was quiet and very easy access to the park across the street. Great for families and those with pets!

It’s a very quiet and nice place to stay. Everything is good in the house. Pavla prepared some snacks for us, the children are all happy and sleep well. If you are traveling with a car, it’s perfect for you.

A wonderful place to stay. Spacious, private and beautifully decorated. Cecile is a terrific host - very thoughtful, friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. We would certainly book this studio again.

Had a great stay at Jen's. Felt really comfortable there and we were settled in nicely when arrived. Apartment was well equipped - had everything we needed and more. Especially appreciated having the dog there with the fully fenced back yard. Location was superb - great views and access to dog walking spots.

This was a perfect base for visiting our family in Christchurch. Grandchildren are great but it was good to escape to such a pleasant location and there was free use of the pool!

Jule's place was beautiful and the perfect stay for our group of 4! Jules was great at communicating about the accommodation and the Sumner area. The space was very spacious, with a clean living, kitchen and bathroom area. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very cosy. Our group was thrilled to stay there and we can't wait to come back and enjoy the accommodation and the Sumner area again. I highly recommend booking this place!

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

Our stay at Watford Cottage was lovely. A private spot nestled in lovely surrounds. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed our stay. The cottage and the garden were both gorgeous

Sue & Greg's place was so relaxing after a long day of driving in the rain. The bed in the enclosed bedroom was so comfortable. We were grateful for food when we arrived and the homemade quiche, muffins, and rhubarb for breakfast. Breakfast also included toast, granola, yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, tea, and coffee. I wish we could bring our kids and grandkids and swim/hot tub.
