Quiet Suite with Private Entrance

The place was as described, the little touches inside made you feel as if you were staying with family, they thought of so many things that we didn’t. Easy access outside and motion lights that made it super easy to take our pups out to go potty even at night, there were poop bags and an outdoor trash can which came in super handy.

We loved the cottage, it was extremely cozy and comfortable, one of the nicest Air BnB's we have stayed in. Lots of room, lovely furnishings, well appointed. The garden and grounds were also very nice and peaceful. Location is great if you are there to bird watch in the surrounding area, very convenient to Pocosin Lakes wildlife refuge. Jennifer was super responsive and very kind. Comments about the sulfur smelling water are correct, but drinking water was provided. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

Sean was an awesome host!. I needed a last minute stay for my aunt’s funeral and this was the perfect place. He was super proactive with getting all the details to me and responded to all of my messages, within minutes. The house was absolutely stunning!

I rented this place to surprise my husband with a getaway with a few of his friends and it did not disappoint! Mike was extremely helpful from the very beginning. He provided a list of things close by the guys could do as well as things he offered at his place. Mike's app that he sends after you book with him is very detailed and answered any questions that came up. I would highly recommend staying here!

Having to attend a funeral in the area, we opted to go with this home to fit our needs. It was such a warm, inviting, comfortable home. It was clean and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hostess and this home if you need a roomy, comfortable place to stay!

Absolutely spotless home. Perfectly described. We were in the area to go to Pungo Lake for waterfowl migration and photography. The home was very close to the refuge. Very convenient location. Quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Aaron’s place was exactly as advertised. My wife surprised me with a stay at this property for my graduation, and it was perfect. The house was very accommodating for my family and kids, with spacious rooms and exceptional cleanliness. Aaron was a responsive host who promptly answered all our questions. The backyard was an incredible spot to relax in peaceful surroundings. I would definitely stay at this property again!
