Monthly Rentals in Chillingham

This is our 3rd visit to the cottages and as usual we were greeted with a warm welcome and the most amazing carrot cake! It’s such a peaceful place to really unwind and if you like walking then it’s perfect. It feels like home from home we love it there. Harvest and Dave have really created a wonderful place to experience.

What an absolutely gorgeous place this was! We stayed for a full week and the peace was so profound (and the bed so comfy), I don’t think I’ve slept so soundly in possibly years. The space is simple and perfectly designed and we felt at home straight away. This was definitely helped by Fliss and Tim’s warm welcome (and occasional visits by lovely Archie the dog). We were a bit chilly coming back one evening (having got caught out in a cold Autumn downpour) and Fliss greeted my messaged request for a hot water bottle with not only that, already filled and ready to go, but a stack of extra blankets for us to get snuggly with. A total star. We were also welcomed into the beautiful garden spaces around the barn - well designed and lots of room to relax in. Plus the location itself was spot on for exploring many places in Northumbria. All in all a total joy and we can’t wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities that made our visit extra comfortable. The owner was exceptionally helpful, ensuring we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making this a welcoming space. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway—we’d definitely return!

Spectacular! Max was the perfect host, always responded quickly to any questions we had. The lodge is beautifully decorated and every amenity you might need is on hand, the space is well thought out and the handbook is helpful. A tad on the chilly side but we were exploring Northumberland in February, so to be expected. Plenty of firewood supplied so it wasn’t an issue. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
