Monthly Rentals in Cheney Longville

The bothy is gorgeous - both the location and the bothy itself. It's beautifully quiet, totally dark, and utterly peaceful. The walk up from the car park is quite tiring with heavy bags - don't make the mistake we did and bring too many books! The hand cart provided made it a lot easier. Given that it's off grid we were surprised at how well kitted out it is - generous supplies of firewood, a good log burner, everything you need in the kitchen, a lovely soft bed. It was perfect for our dogs - with a small enclosed garden and a slightly larger enclosed paddock. We were able to give the dogs loads of space without worries. And the setting is just fantastic. Even in January, when we stayed, it's gorgeous: the snowdrops were out in large numbers and on the sunny days it's a warm sheltered spot. We absolutely loved it.

Absolutely treasure of a find! I needed some time away from family to get my head together and this just did want I needed. A small but very well equipped home from home. Clean and comfortable bed. Nothing negative about it but the noise from the railway and nearby road, which can't be helped. I will recommend this to anyone.

Brilliant stay at Janet's. Very cosy, unique property in Shropshire. She provided quite the feast!
