Karen has a lovely little cabin that has everything you would need. Felt at home, in a clean and peaceful home.

What a fab find. Alison and Joe so lovely and welcoming. Beautifully clean. Compact but comfy bed and sofa and all so modern and all you need from a home to home stay. . Ample tiered terrace at back of house and bench to watch the wildlife on the lake opposite but as it was Feb we weren't able to make use of these but no doubt great in a few months time. Great heating system too. Lake. mountains and cheddar gourge views fabulous and short walk to them too with shops, restaurants and pubs. Very quiet and tranquil. Lovely touches of biscuits, chocolate and wine as well as tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Thank you both for our relaxing weekend and we will definitely book again....

We stayed in Jayne & John’s barn for 2 months and enjoyed every moment! They greeted us upon arrival and provided all the recommendations to experience North Somerset and the surrounding beauty. The home is private and equipped with everything needed for cooking meals, working from home (as a couple), & enjoying the relaxing environment they’ve created in the English countryside. We didn’t have a car for our stay and were able to walk into Winscombe for groceries or order delivery (groceries or meals), take the Falcon (bus) into Bristol and easily Uber to the Bristol Airport. Surrounded by nature, the footpaths connect you to hiking & biking trails. Our stay was even more superb because of how gracious and friendly Jayne, John and their neighbors are. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure the best experience. Highly recommend staying for any amount of time as you’ll quickly fall in love with the area and the inviting sanctuary they’ve created at the barn!
