Cozy, clean, and great neighborhood with a park to workout downstairs. Luz was so attentive as a host, knew great places to eat, hike, and explore for shopping. There is a huge mall about 20 mins walk (Antenas) but an even better neighborhood to support local businesses. Xtapalapa is place to get away from tourists and really get to know the heart of Mexican authentic culture. My host Luz was like an Auntie, making sure I was safe as a single alone traveling woman & if I would ask her for recommendations or good hair/nails/lashes salon, she would send me to the best affordable spots. There are close by laundry services that leave your clothes brand new! My favorite part was going downstairs and talking to her on her porch kitchen window and updating her what adventures I was getting in that day. She was sweet and if she was busy, her kind sons will be there for to help you in anything. Come down to Luz de Luna Apartments & make sure you put that on the Uber location for drop offs !

Excellent place, I came with my friends to a festival at the racetrack and it's a 15 minute Uber ride away. The place is easy to find, it matches the photos and has enough for a pleasant stay, you can cook, wash and even exercise. Good internet service and a tv big enough, also mention that there is hot water for bathing. At the entrance it has a cabin, so I consider it very safe. Excellent place, recommended.
