Cabin in the jungle

The cabin is in a beautiful rainforested area that Rocio reclaimed and planted herself some years ago. The cabin is basic but very clean. The beds are comfortable. Rocio was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and she cooked us a delicious dinner. We had a wonderful nights sleep listening to the sounds of the forest and the stream.

Centrally located. Great space. The best thing was the silence, no barking dogs or motorbikes that make noise. Ylse was quick to respond and we were allowed to check in earlier.

Had a wonderful time. I drove so it was very easy to explore the area. There was a lot of weather but was expected that time of year. Catemaco is the best of rural Mexico. Fantastic local food and genial people. Also remarkably cheap to eat out. Mat was amazing and super attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely rent from her again next year. Thanks to Mat and the staff for an excellent stay.
