THE place to be, if you want to be as close as possible to the climbing rocks (few minutes walk - no car needed, once you are there). When the weather is good, you will have a magnificient view on the scenery of Apennin mountains and hills right out of your appartment windows - with the rising sun waking you up in the morning and shining on your breakfast table. There is a nice large roof terrace with artificial lawn right in front of your door. It belongs to the restaurant of the refugio - but was not strongly frequented by guests - at least during our stay in Winter. Rooms are neat and clean. Kitchen equipment is quite basic - but Attilio's restaurant is just one stair below :-) He and his team were very kind and helpful.
