Monthly Rentals in Caroga Lake

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage by Caroga Lake. Although it has neighbors it felt secluded and totally peaceful; with a dock on both sides of the cottage and easy access to the water, it was serene and lovely. The cottage was all knotty pine, excellent light, simple but well made style, and an easy-to-use gas fireplace: perfect. We enjoyed hiking some of the many gorgeous trails nearby, cooking (there’s a Hannaford grocery about 20 minutes away), and sitting out on the dock. A note about Bruce and Susie: I usually am pained by Airbnb hosts who greets you and show you the place. As an introvert I’d normally prefer to avoid a stranger and introduce myself to an airbnb. But my friend and I were both delighted by this affable, charming couple. They were too authentic and kind to worry about being shy; and after introductions they of course left us to ourselves to explore the Adirondacks and the lake ourselves. We had such a nice long weekend I am sure we will be back.

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

We stayed here for a work trip and everything went well. The kitchen has everything you could need and the house was nice and clean! The wifi was a bit slow, but all in all it was a great place to stay.

What a lovely time! Chandra's cabin is on a beautiful little lake at the end of a dead-end shoreline road. Easy to get to and had a perfect balance of seclusion and privacy without being inaccessible. Chandra provided great recommendations for the area, but we found ourselves not wanting to leave the cabin. In fact, we stayed an extra day because the space was so relaxing! Chandra was very responsive and was an absolute joy to communicate with. The cabin was clean and offered plenty of space for us to lounge around in. The dogs loved their time, too! Being at the end of a long driveway, there were no fears of passing cars and the dogs were able to run around without worry. We had some great snowfall that was stunning! It was bitter cold, too, but the cabin was toasty warm. The whole trip could not have been more perfect...seriously. Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Chandra's A-frame. You will surely not be disappointed. Thank you, Chandra!
