Villa vacation rentals in Capaccio Paestum

Great location with beautiful views in a peaceful area. Close enough to walk to everything you need from great restaurants, shops and beaches. No matter where you stay, you will encounter steps so enjoy the leg workout. We didn't spend much time in the house, but it fit our party of 8 perfectly and the place was much bigger than I expected and had a cool layout/architecture. The multi-level patios with the lemon tree canopy was amazing. It feels like a well loved family home in Italy. All amenities that we needed were provided. We were there in July. There was A/C in the 3 main bedrooms which worked great. The fourth bedroom didn't have A/C and could get hot during the day, but cooled down in the evening with the window open. We used the washing machine which worked great and loved drying our clothes on the patio line under the lemons. The hosts were very proactive and communicative. Reach out to them for recommendations early so they can help plan your trip. We would stay again!

The Villa was beautiful and matched the pictures on the site. My group of six had enough room to spread out. Having the pool was a real plus because there are a lot of stairs and the beach is rocky (definitely need beach shoes). The Villa's furniture has not been updated but it added to the charm. There are wonderful views from every level. There are a lot of stairs in Positano and the Villa is no exception. From the drop off point to the Villa is over 100 steps going down. Do yourself a favor and pay for the porter service. It is worth every penny. We did not upon arrival and had to carry about 9 bags but luckily we had 4 teenagers. I cannot say enough about the place but Monica (host) was the best. She had several food items ready upon our arrival and gave local recommendations. I cannot recommend this Villa enough for your next Positano vacation. You will not be disappointed.

This is my second time to Villa Angela - my ‘Happy Place’. We hired the whole place & bought friends this time. We stayed 10 days to belatedly celebrate my birthday. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The villa itself is gorgeous, super clean and has beautiful views in all directions- which I miss immensely. We found all the amenities we would need. We enjoyed our breakfasts and especially the evenings on the terrace. My friends LOVED the villa and agreed it was even more beautiful in real life. The Villa is the perfect place as a base for exploring Sorrento & the surrounding area. We did this on foot, by train, bus & boat. However, what makes this place even more special are the hosts. Angela is such a kind, wonderful, human being and now friend. She continuously goes above and beyond to ensure the perfect stay. I couldn’t recommend Angela and her Villa more highly! We were in the villa with a group of 10 people. In total, you can also easily stay with 14 people. The host was very helpful and also supported us with tips during the stay. The villa and especially the pool are great and the view of the sea is fantastic. This is an older building. Accordingly, the facilities are a bit outdated. Also, the building is a little damp overall and has slight mold marks in one place or another (at least at the end of 2024). Otherwise, however, everything necessary is available and in particular the pool area is in perfect condition! The villa is in a great location and the immediate city is also rich in great gastronomic offers. Located at the entrance of the Amalfi Coast, it is the perfect base for a tour along the coast. Car or other vehicle absolutely necessary!

Our group had a lovely time at Bruno’s place. In a quieter area but still walkable to Sorrento and the port. It was great to have nice public outdoor area with private rooms each with their own full bathroom.

Loved this cool place right on the cliff-edge by the sea! (you can see and hear the sea from every window). Small Beach just around the Corner and a lovely hostess. Just be carefull with the traffic on the winding road and the cliffs heading towards the sea (keep track of your kids if traveling with small children, worked just fine with mine though - 10 yo and 6 yo). I you travel by car, choose a small car.

My family and I stayed at the villa from 10/27 to 11/ 2. The weather was perfect and our hosts Pasquale and Marco were phenomenal. Upon our arrival they were there to greet us and provide a full tour of the villa. We had the donkeys take our luggage down which was a great help as it’s a bit of a walk to the villa from the road. Pasquale offered to have dinner prepared for us on the first night, which consisted of 4 or 5 courses including dessert and 1/2 bottle of wine per person. Dinner was out of this world and the cost was €70 each, well worth it! We made the walk down to Amalfi Porto on the second day and it took about 50 minutes. After that we decided to take the 20 minute walk to Scala Square and get the bus to Amalfi then ferry from there to Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Naples, etc. We also opted for the “pizza night” on the last night and it was literally the best pizza we had in Italy. We had an amazing stay at the Villa and we highly recommend♥️🇮🇹♥️

It was great. Our expectations were met and exceeded. The location of the house is optimal. The various supermarkets, the various restaurants, the post office and the long sandy beach are within walking distance. The small village is very charming and beautiful. Sacha the host was very good. Communication was easy, fast and straightforward. We were able to enjoy our vacation 100%! The pool was very clean and even up to 2.5 m deep. The outdoor shower even has hot water. The barbecue area is very cozy and very well lit even when it is dark. The house is very well furnished from A to Z. On the beach, there are also small restaurants with drinks, snacks, chairs and shade. The people in the village are very nice and you can find everything for shopping. It even has a butcher, a greengrocer and more. Thanks a lot Sacha, we'll come again

We just wrapped up a month stay at Villa Primavera and it was an absolute paradise. The house had a lot of space, perfect for a large family or a number of couples. All of the bedrooms are en suite and the kitchen was well-equipped. The highlight of the house for me was the outdoor lemon grotto which overlooked the beautiful pool, which was set above the most gorgeous sea view. The only downside was the location is a bit remote, so a 25 min bus/car ride down to Amalfi. On the plus side, the bus stops at the villa. Finally, Pasquale himself was super responsive. He provided recommendations, sourced groceries, got us scooters, and even arranged for our iPhone to be fixed - high service! Michele also serviced Villa Primavera directly, so made sure things ran smoothly at the villa. He even came over to move our heavy suitcases upon move out. Overall, a great month at Villa Primavera - highly recommend!

Our stay in Lucia’s home was wonderful! The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We had some questions about the location and house and they were quick to respond and help us with all of our inquiries. When we arrived we were given recommendations for restaurants to go as well as directions for how to get there. We all enjoyed their helpful recommendations. The place was very clean and looks just like the pictures. Comfortable furniture, beautiful tiling, and an absolutely stunning terrace.

We found this home last minute. We were staying in another accommodation which went terrible and we had to leave. We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this place was specially compared to our other stay. Everything worked perfectly, WiFi, ac/heating, water. Everything was perfect. You are up the steps about 20 minutes down to the central locations of Positano, if you don’t like steps this may be an issue but everything in Positano is vertical so this will be the case for most places. We highly recommend this stay.

Laura’s Sunshine Villa is even better than the pictures and description. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Would come back here again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend to everyone. True paradise with unbelievable views. Laura is a top notch host and answered all our questions and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We fell in love with Positano and Laura and her wonderful villa helped to ensure it was one of our best vacations ever! Thanks Laura, you are truly best in class! We can’t wait to come again!!! The villa was wonderful, clean, well equipped and had beautiful views! We were a party of 12 and there was plenty of room for us , there are 6 bathrooms too. The pool was brilliant, with the most amazing views. We used public transport the whole time we were at the villa, cheap and had no issues, the roads round there are a bit tight so we didn’t fancy driving ourselves. But the stand out for us was Alfonso! He booked restaurants, sorted pizza orders, gave us trip suggestions and arranged transfers. We had one issue and it was sorted the next day. Alfonso goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay and I have to say that most of this 5 star review is due to him. We would recommend staying here and loved it!

First..the property was absolutely breathtaking, not going to lie, there are many steps getting to the villa but worth it…the whole town is full of steps but the small town of 600 is charming. Miriam and Francesca were wonderful hosts, always available for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this villa.

My family absolutely loved our stay at Roberto’s beautiful home. It was my husband and I, with our three adult children, and 2 fiancees. My daughter got engaged during our stay. Rooms were large, everyone had their own space and bathrooms. The outdoor terraces have breathtaking views. We spent a lot of time out there! Restaurants were close by, ferry’s were just down the hill to visit other towns. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I hope to stay here again someday. ♥️

Had a great time here with our group of 9 people. The beds were very comfortable, all rooms with there own bathrooms. We spent every night sitting on the terrace, which has beautiful views. Finally, Barbara was very responsive and helpful. She even helped us book transport from Naples to the house.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculate, the beds large and comfortable, the aircon worked perfectly. The house is large and has plenty of space The views from the house are amazing from the pool area, the balconies and even the bathroom 😊 The host Francessco was so helpful, arranging dinner reservations, providing information and links for local transport and ferries to tour the area. Yes there are many steps to the house but this is the Amalfi coast so what we expected and it kept us all fit and burnt off all those calories consumed. We all had a wonderful stay.

Just wow!!!! This was such a beautiful place!! Probably one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in!! The views are stunning, the castle is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for us 3 couples from New England/NY. The balcony was our favorite spot to hang and relax while we also enjoyed the walk down to the water and even swam a bit in the Mediterranean:) the walk to Minori, cute little town with shops and restaurants is an easy 8 minute walk and the Ferry and bus stop in right there providing easy access to the other villages along the coast. The home was well stocked and Francescopaolo was a wonderful host! He provided great information before, during and after our stay. We didn’t have a vehicle but there is plenty of space if we did have one. Would 100% stay again and will be recommending to friends and family. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!! ☺️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giulio’s beautiful place. Breathtaking view, peaceful and quiet, walking distance to restaurants and beautiful beaches, and Giulio couldn’t be friendlier or more welcoming. Felt like coming home. And the breakfast included was amazing. Will warmly recommend.

We loved our stay at the property. The view from the property is beautiful and the area is quiet with a private pool. There is a small shop a few minutes away from the property where we were able to pick up fruit, water and some snacks. Sant Agata is a 15-20 minute walk away where there are a number of restaurants and shops. There was 12 of us in total staying across two of the properties and therefore we used a local cab company to take us to Sorrento town centre and Positano rather than using the bus which came infrequently. One of our favourite days was a private boat trip to Capri which was organised by the property owners with their granddaughter and they arranged for our transfer to and from the property. They also assisted with arranging our transfers to and from the airport. The owners were always very responsive and provided recommendations for activities and places to visit during our stay, and would help with bookings where needed.

I cant recommend and thank Carmen enough for going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and efficient service provided. Carmen is such a warm, friendly hospitable host, very helpful, flexible during our stay at the accommodation. Would 100% recommend!

Antonio, Michele, and the entire Villa Alba staff were extremely communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout our stay. Antonio was patient and flexible during check in as we were delayed due to traffic. Villa Alba offers spectacular views with lots of areas on the property to enjoy. Our group found the walk to Amalfi city center doable and walked it multiple times during our stay. Just be prepared for many stairs, a great form of exercise! The walk takes about 30 minutes - we did not attempt to take the bus although that is an option that the Villa Alba staff graciously shared with us. As a group of 4 couples, we appreciated the 4 bedrooms split between the two units. This set up allowed us to have our own privacy and space without feeling crammed. The living areas are large enough for groups of 8 to gather together in one unit. If you are looking for a peaceful stay on the Amalfi Coast, Villa Alba is for you. Grazie mille Villa Alba staff!

My family and I absolutely loved out here, my mum said it was the most beautiful place she had ever stayed. Rosella was so lovely, checking us in late at night after a long travel day and having a lovely pasta sauce and other goodies waiting for us. The place is not central and public transport doesn’t come often, but Rosella gave us the number of a really helpful taxi who helped us get around. We would love to stay there again.
