We had a lovely time at Quinta Bamboo, the place is peaceful and beautiful, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. There are lots of places in the surroundings to go for hikes, swims or enjoy nature. Would really recommend!

Maria’s stone home was cute and typical Portuguese home! A lovely upper apartment with all of the amenities listed. We were welcomed with a wonderful gift of wine, walnuts, dried figs and sardines. The apartment is well lit with big open windows and two beautiful and rustic patios to catch the mid morning to afternoon sun. Very friendly neighbours across the street who brought us some Christmas goodies on Christmas morning. Maria had the local baker deliver fresh bread and Portuguese Christmas cake! Such a welcoming and warm time we had. With a rental car, lidl is just 6 minutes away and there are many places to visit within 30 minutes, Viseu, Caramelo Castle, and a little further to Coimbra. Thank you for being flexible with the check in and assisting with all of our queries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
