Cabin vacation rentals in Burr Oak Lake

When I searched for a place close to Hocking Hills State Park, this was right in the middle of it all! It was a beautiful place and super clean. The hot tub was a nice addition after the days of hiking! I would 100% stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend! The place was amazing! We enjoyed the firepit and hottub! It was perfect!!!

Our stay at Pam's home was phenomenal. It felt super cozy and was one of the most well appointed Airbnb's we've stayed at so far! It was fun there was a winery right next door and the path was well lit in the evening. Close to all the hikes we looked forward to doing. What a great experience. :). Thanks Pam!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. The jacuzzi and inside / outside fireplaces were a very nice experience. Not too far from Hocking Hills trails. It was a nice romantic get away!

We will be back to stay for a longer trip. The hot tub was perfect after a long day at work and a 3 hour drive. Ryan was very responsive and helpful with suggestions on what we should explore.

We had a great time! The outdoors was peaceful and fun to explore. The hot tub and pool table were great extras for a rainy day. Kitchen had all the things needed to prepare dinner. Everything was clean, and host was kind and quick with responses. WiFi worked well for us as phones had no service in the area. Our family enjoyed our stay:)

My partner and I really enjoyed a weekend at Sandra’s cabin. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. Very close to Hocking Hills. Our only inconvenience was the hot tub; the filter needed replaced and the water had a musty smell to it. We did not mention to Sandra during our stay because we were too busy enjoying the rest of the place. Thanks again!

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to hocking hills state park and forest. Lynn’s place is a gem, and included a few touches we appreciated: 1) the kitchen is very well stocked with all the possible tools you’d need to cook your own meals 2) the cabin was extremely well cleaned and can comfortably accommodate 4 adults 3) we didn’t have issues with the WiFi during our stay 4) we had a little welcome bag of treats waiting for us 5) laundry on site A few things to note: 1) The Airbnb is very remote and in a hilly region with sharp turns and no street lights - I’d recommend downloading the local map before heading into the area because you’ll likely not have cell service the entire stay. 2) The hot tub was spacious but the water took a while to come up to a comfortable temperature. Lynn was very responsive and overall, we’d definitely stay here again if we visit the area.

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was cozy, clean and private. All the things we wanted. Our dogs loved it! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire place as it was rainy and cold several of the days we were there. The covered porch was awesome as well. So many little details that stood out; toiletry items in the bathroom, hot chocolate station, Keurig with coffee and almost anything you would need to have for basic cooking. All of the items needed for dogs. Luxury towels and really nice linens and comfortable beds. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Grace was a fabulous host! She has a beautiful place! Fully stocked in ways you wouldn’t expect! Clean area, lots of extra blankets! Clear instructions, organized, lots of games! Hot tub was wonderful especially with all of the solar lights! It was such a pleasurable stay! Our dogs loved it as well! We will definitely stay again!

Margot and John are the kindest, most welcoming people. We had a wonderful time on the ranch, and were so impressed with the lodging and hospitality. 10 out of 10, would recommend for anyone who loves farms, nature, solitude and a unique experience.

We had a little tricky time with our GPS finding the home , but to be expected with the location and it was mentioned on the information. The place was beautiful! They have thought of all the little things, you can tell they poured their heart and soul into this place. The location was perfect! 6 minutes away from Cedar Falls, (we went twice on different trails) and 15 min to old man’s cave and Ash cave . Such a beautiful place! Thank you for sharing your home with us ! Many memories made!

Laura’s cabin in Hocking hills was lovely. Clean with great views of the woods. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and was clean. Laura was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to texts. A great weekend getaway!

I highly recommend this rental for a small family! The attention to detail was impressive. My daughter enjoyed the cats, especially the sweet orange one. You have multiple places to sit including outdoor dining, nice hot tub, swings for an evening or relaxing morning. The property is nice, quiet, and secluded. You can tell they try to keep up with the place! Whether you want to cook, bake, or anything….Do not worry, the kitchen is fully stocked. The bed in the main bedroom is a tempuredic type bed with tilt and massage controls; is very nice. The bed downstairs isn’t as comfy but is more than comfortable enough for a few nights. Down stairs is a nice movie area. Plenty of outdoor space for dogs, and you are fully stocked for anything your dog needs; food, treats, ect. Obviously we didn’t feed them random food but they enjoyed a couple treats. The tub is great and my wife enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place, especially for a couple wanting to stay a couple nights alone!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb near Hocking Hills! The views were stunning, and it was just minutes away from all the hikes we had planned—super convenient. Pam, the host, was incredibly thoughtful—she even left sweet gifts for our kids (bunny painting kits and coloring books!). The house was perfectly set up for families with young kids: a potty insert, Legos, baby gate for the stairs—she really thought of everything. It was such a peaceful, cozy space to unwind and spend quality time together. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect girls weekend getaway! Kevin was a wonderful host and very responsive. Very clean, and peaceful. Location was great. I do recommend making sure you have all the groceries you need for your trip when you arrive at the home because the grocery store is a bit of a hike for us city girls :) Walmart worked well for us as it has the most options. I highly recommend this home!!

Cozy and warm, plenty of space. I was there to visit my son at OU and it was a bit far from campus, but we enjoyed some time on the hiking trail right out the back door, and playing cars on the porch, so it all worked out. Good communication from the host, thanks so much!

We have stayed at this location the past three or four years to celebrate New Year’s, and it is the perfect spot for our group. The kids love exploring in the woods and playing in the hot tub. Very secluded and peaceful. Beth is an excellent host and so easy to work with. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience!

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with our grandkids. I missed the email with all the instructions (my own fault) and the fact that there is absolutely no service in the area . Be sure to write the door code down and message family to let them know. I had adult kids thinking we dropped off the earth 🤣. Whitney did send an email explaining all of this but if you are like me and missed it maybe this will help. The place was perfect for us, cozy lots of games, puzzles, and movies. All the sites of hocking hills are close and they leave a wonderful list of things to do in the area. This helped us map out our adventure for the day. The kids loved exploring the water and playing in the teepee on site. Oh and the roads are very curvey, and narrow so try to navigate in the light. It was a wonderful adventure. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Great stay! Close to all Public land hunting.. only downfall no WiFi but was nice to sit in the hot tub and relax. East check in and out.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Roosevelt! My friends and I have stayed a few places in Hocking Hills, and we all agree Katie's place is our favorite! The house was beautiful, everything was absolutely pristine, it smelled so good when we walked in (some kind of candle or air freshener??), there were plenty of towels in both the bathrooms and for the hot tub, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and we were such a short drive from all the fun things/hikes in Hocking Hills. We made use of both the hot tub and the fire pit, and we appreciated the firewood that was left for us there. We came here for my friend's bachelorette party and we has such a blast, and all said we would love to stay here again in the future.
