Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Buffalo River

We had the best time here - so peaceful and quiet. We explored all around the waterfalls at Richland creek and even went down to Jasper which had a super cute downtown area. We hope to come back again!

We came to the Buffalo River area to do some hiking. Unfortunately, it rained and rained (flash floods) the entire time we were there. However, the cabin was so nice and comfortable that we ended up having a very relaxing and enjoyable time anyway. Just as it’s described, the cabin is in a very secluded and peaceful area. The trees and foliage were absolutely beautiful. (We were there in April) The dogwoods and redbuds were in full bloom. Probably because of the heavy rains, we had a waterfall right out our back door. The wrap around porch was perfect for grilling and soaking in the scenery even though it was pouring down rain. Toni had pretty much everything you would need throughout the house. Basic food stuffs in the kitchen. (Seasonings, coffee, butter, condiments, etc.) The bathroom was fairly well stocked with all the typical personal hygiene items that you might need if you accidentally forgot something. We would certainly stay here again.

Lovely and convenient spot for HCR climbing. 10/10 would book again. We never found those two foxes though, lol

This was a peaceful, enjoyable getaway that I really needed. The property is beautifully kept and the porch in front by the pond is just idyllic. I rested so well and the full kitchen was perfect for preparing my meals. I will definitely be back for more hiking at the nearby trails and to relax in the peace and quiet. If you want a peaceful getaway where you will sleep well, this is it! As I side note, the owners were so helpful and even returned/mailed an item that I had unknowingly left behind. They are just wonderful people!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Misty Bluff! The sunrise views are breathtaking and you can see them from basically every room in the cabin. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Our Goldens had a great time on the large porches downstairs and upstairs. We will definitely try to visit this place again!

One of the best AB&B’s I have stayed at. Easy and most helpful hosts. The view is alone was the selling point. Had everything we needed and more. Not one person from our group had any complaints, except that we had to leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

We loved our week at the cabin! It was incredibly peaceful sitting on the covered deck overlooking the magnificent view of the valley and surrounding mountains. There are tons of hiking trails with waterfalls all around. There was a book with popular hikes, restaurants, and helpful information at the house. The kitchen is well stocked and there were thoughtful touches throughout such as mints and chocolates on the bed and warm brownies upon arrival! We will definitely be coming back again!

The Stargazer Cabin was absolutely amazing. It was a gorgeous setting and peaceful home. They went above and beyond amenities! They provided so much including lots of food spices, shampoos and conditioners, and more! The hosts were so kind and very responsive. They had a whole binder full of helpful information. It was absolutely wonderful. Along with so much land and yard to spend time on. Only complaints were the bathroom toilet seat was a little close to the wall, but manageable, just a little tough for the tall people in our group. Also we basically had no service the entire weekend in any town or county even near the cabin. Definitely must have a good phone company for all of that, but we were all probably in need of a technology detox anyways. Great getaway spot!
