Family-friendly vacation rentals in Buffalo River

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Highly recommend it! It would be helpful if the kitchen items were listed in the add, so renters would have a better knowledge of what to bring. (Blender,etc) Also, if there were detailed instructions for using the remotes. Beach towels would be a great addition too, when using the hot tub. Had no idea what day garbage pickup was or we would have taken the container to the road. Loved the cabin feel and beautiful interior layout. Close enough to Branson to enjoy the activities and yet secluded enough for scenic woods and privacy. Thank you again for an awesome stay.

We loved the cabin we stayed in. With ten of us, there was plenty of room for everyone. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. We loved the area and views. Will definitely be back!

From the second we pulled into the secluded community we knew this was the right place. The exterior of the house was welcoming and the interior looked just like the pics. There was a book with clear instructions and tons of restaurant options. Any time we needed Rent Branson they were super helpful and responsive. We had a great time and look forward to staying here again.

This home is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. The house was spotless and smell so fresh and clean. Christine was a great host and very quick with responses to any questions. Will definitely come back here

Even better than expected. Beautiful cabin, great location. The fire pit and the hot tub under the stars is always a winning combo. Really nice trails in a close drive to the cabin.

We had a great and relaxing stay! The location was peaceful and the hot tub was great! The WiFi was fast and supported our streaming services which was wonderful!

Met college girlfriends for a weekend reunion trip. Location was ideal for our spa and dining plans while offered at a fraction of a nearby resort cabin. We enjoyed the lake view, hike/walks in the nearby areas, and found plenty of living space for lounging and connecting. The property boasts comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and a spacious kitchen. Perfect for our group.

Beautiful space! The creek was icey cold in March but boy did it feel good, the toddler and dog loved it too!! The fire place was so nice to warm up by. The shower head is fixed and my fiancé was almost touching it at 6’3, for anyone who may be on the taller side :) The hot tub only got up to 104, and my fiancé pointed out some icky stuff(like a tan paste) collected on my chest from the water level after we turned on the jets. There may have also been to many chemical tablets in the water, the steam turned up by the jets burned to breathe in and hurt our eyes, like a spicy steam room. DRIVE AN HOUR TO MIRROR LAKE IF YOU HAVE TIME!! So breathtakingly beautiful. I would come back to this specific cabin again ❤️

My daughter and I took her 5 kids on a two night get away over spring break. We wanted a place for the kids (aged 11-4) to explore and screen detox. The Hilltopper Cabin was perfect. We spent our time hiking at Lost Cave Trail (well worth the 45 min drive!) and playing in the water at Pruitt’s Landing(only 2 miles away). The cabin was cozy, super clean and had everything we needed! We will go back!

This was definitely home away from home! The cabin is in a beautiful private area that really made us feel like we were lost in the woods. We enjoyed the bonfire making smores, and star gazing at night. The cabin itself was just perfect. Very cozy and clean. We went the day after Christmas so we truly loved and appreciated the festive decorations and the Christmas tree. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenic areas. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Dianne for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.

"A True Back-to-Nature Experience!" We recently stayed at this primitive cabin, and it was exactly what we needed to unplug and reconnect with nature. The cabin was simple but cozy, offering a true off-the-grid experience. The surroundings were beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. While the lack of modern amenities made it a bit challenging at times for my kids, it only enhanced the authenticity of the experience. If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle, this is it. The cabin was well-maintained, and Heron and her Dad How were really friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect spot for those looking to embrace a simpler, more rustic way of life. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures and a little solitude!

The perfect gem for a tired parent getaway! The driveway is as Katie describes but is maneuverable (even with a giant truck). Location offers plenty of privacy from neighbors on either side and a beautiful early spring view of the sunrise and sunset. Interior is clean and cozy. Absolutely recommend!

It’s rare to find an Airbnb that has everything as pictured or described in listing. This one is just that! Well done! The area is fantastic for hiking and many other excursions. It’s a cozy cabin but yet spacious. Heaters were great. Excellent getaway in the Winter let alone Summer. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is amazing. We had a group of 10 and none of us wanted to leave. Google maps took us right to the ranch and the property is perfectly maintained and was easy to get around. The Hannah house is a very large house and with 10 people we never felt cramped at all. Would recommend this place to anyone. Well worth it.

We came to celebrate our anniversary, and soon discovered that we truly needed the get away, to decompress. Everything was so peaceful, it was like having our own, mostly private castle (there was one other set of guests , but we never once ran into them) tucked away in the woods. I highly recommend them gem, and if you hadn't read or heard about the background I would definitely check into that. Lacey, and Shelby's story are remarkable. Karen was wonderful as well.

Barbara is a wonderful, proactive host. We have stayed multiple times and loved it every time. The trails are well kept and her map is easy to navigate. The view from the back porch and the creek that runs through the trails adds that extra peace and connection with God we were needing. The linens and home are cottage quaint and always immaculate. Highly recommend!

We felt right at home in this spacious cabin in the great outdoors. Not far from Branson but far enough from the hustle and bustle to have a quiet peaceful stay. There’s lot of wildlife including some amazing stray cats that the kids fell in love with while we were there. The orange one we named sweet potato and he was the nicest cuddliest cat we’ve ever met. The cats sure appreciated the cat treats we gave them and hung out everyday with us. Have fun with them but don’t take them with you! The hot tub was great, a nice size and kept the temp at 104 so just right. The solo stove and grill we didn’t use but appreciated having them there, was just a bit windy for a fire. There were tvs in each room and plenty of channels to choose from. Plenty of room for our group of 6(4 adults and 2 kids). Would visit again!

Doug’s place was a welcome retreat for our extended family for Thanksgiving 2024. We had seven adults and 6 kids - all had an amazing time. Here are some things we really liked about Doug’s place: 1. The kitchen was spacious and squeaky clean. There were loads of appliances and helpful kitchen tools to use. Our family was able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in the bright, spacious, and well-equipped space. 2. The huge dining room table easily fit our large party. We loved the dark wood and the contemporary benches to complement our holiday feast. There was also additional seating at the kitchen bar. Lots of room to entertain. 3. The kids, aged 8-16, loved playing in the basement game room. Pool, foosball, basketball, and a large device-compatible screen. The television also has many streaming services. Lots of seating and sports for lounging. The six kids loved it. 4. The hot tub was a nice touch on the cool days and nights. The tub could hold 8 adults easily. Fun times!

It’s was a great cabin with the right atmosphere and location just outside of town and very close to Cedar Lodge!

What can I say but we felt like we were home. Amazing location amazing place. 3 out of the 4 rooms had their own private bathroom.. major points!

A lovely home with rocking chairs on the deck and enclosed porch, a large kitchen, streaming television, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. One of those rare locations at which pets are welcome. Great place for a multi-family getaway!

So Anedodi, is the best bang for the buck. I love how they have left the extras that other guest "donate" we left some beautiful florals and and other dish ware. It feels just like going to the family cabin. And that is the BIGGEST Bath tub i have ever seen in my life everyone's first response was how did they get it in here, i think they built the house around it..lol Everything is really great and when you're stressed just go have a drink on the porch and watch the sunset did wonders for my soul.. thank you so much Hilary for sharing your piece of heaven.. the Martin-Teager's although i didn't get a hyphen even on face book so scratch that Thank You, The Martin's ...lol
