Had a great stay, place was very clean and well equipped, hosts were very helpful.

Well presented, features full, spotless room with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. As described, is just minute away from the city center, yet in a quiet and nice residential neighbourhood. Excellent value for money.

My stay was nothing short of fantastic. Katherine is the loveliest host, and most helpful and generous if you need anything at all. The room was beautiful - I’d quite happily live there! Lovely walks as always surrounding the area and knowing I can stay at Katherine’s makes me look forward to my Durham visits all the more! I will be back!

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.
