Annette and Martin were so helpful and extremely kind letting us stay on late before our flight home. Marigot Bay is lovely but wld definitely recommend hiring a car so you can get to other great places such as Pigeon Island and Soufriere - Annette’s recommendations for restaurants horse riding and Wayne’s waterfall hike were very accurate and very enjoyable! Only downside was the unseasonable weather ( couldn’t be helped!) and the walk back up to the Treehouse sometimes seemed quite arduous! But one tip we had a lovely meal at La Villa and they gave us a free taxi ride back home! And if you have breakfast/ drinks at Doolittles you can use their sun beds for free ! Marigot Bay really is a lovely pretty place and Annette and Martin were probably the most helpful airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered!

Great place with a beautiful view. Conveniently located in Canaries which is right in the centre of West St.Lucia. Takes around an hour to get to the nice places in both the north and south

Really beautiful apartment, extremely well equipment for any cooking. the bed was very comfy and huge! 20 mins walk into Castries or 5 mins drive. It is nicely tucked away from all the hustle of the centre and has some beautiful views. I would recommend having a car if you want to visit other towns but there are plenty of taxis. Angela and Thomas were both very responsive and lovely people. We had a much better feeling of St Lucia staying in this apartment rather than a hotel or resort, I would highly recommend!

This stay is worth 1000 words. Tucked away on the hillside just outside of the capital. The estates historic charm, old growth trees, and serenity instantly greets & washes over you. Douglas and his family clearly have a reverence and love for natural splendor & hospitality. He was quick to recommend walkable food spots (get the rotisserie chicken, go to the bakery, try the food truck in a pinch) and even go as far as to offer to make dinner reservations for my birthday dinner at a gorgeous place nearby. A well equipped kitchen, pristine amenities, and thoughtful interior design made coffee in the morning my favorite part of the day. Truly, we didn’t even want to leave the estate. It was a perfect getaway. I also would recommend taking them up on the breakfast offer, featuring a traditional Lucian breakfast and freshly picked fruit from the property. A pleasant surprise to be greeted by the dogs on property upon each arrival. They were very sweet. 11/10 we hope to return.
