Vacation rentals in Bluestone River

Beautiful vintage home with a great view and private even though it’s in a small city. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we were looking for, will return if we have the opportunity!!

We loved the WhistleStop! The hosts were always very responsive to questions and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. We enjoyed the welcome gift and were excited about all of the games. It’s an excellent location and felt very safe. People in the area were very friendly. Our favorite attractions in the area were Sandstone Falls (very close by!) and the Endless Wall Trail (which was well worth the hour drive). We loved Kirk’s for lunch and went twice. We would definitely return!

this place was just so beautiful..right in town yet so peaceful and private. nice get away. the linens are also very nice from towels to bedding...it is very cozy very nice. I would recommend and I would definitely stay again

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

This is an older home but it was clean and met our needs. The beds are really firm, which isn’t our preference, but the sheets were great quality. The host was super responsive. We would stay here again if we were visiting Oak Hill or Fayetteville.

We loved our stay at the Red Roost! The boys loved the coop. We enjoyed being close to the city but also in the woods. My 8 year old loved all of the different lofts to sleep/play in. This home had all of the little things, forget your backpack for hiking (check), a bin of flashlights (checks), books for reading (check), walking sticks (check). Would love to visit this home again.

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

Very very cozy place in walking distance of a lot of restaurants. Holly was very responsive and helpful, and the place was well-stocked with essentials.

The place is great for a couple riding the trails! The back deck with the waterfall and stream is very peaceful!

We had such a relaxing time at the cabin. This was the perfect place to escape from the busy world and to be surrounded by the natural world. Played in the snow, soaked in the hot tub and went snowboarding for the first time since the slopes were so close by! We hope to stay again!

Quaint, charming and cozy. Just as described with all the amenities you could need. Short drive to national park and Fayetteville. Allison was a great host - proactive and responsive. My only critique is the cleaning fee is a high.
