Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Blowing Rock

This Airbnb is very nice and spacious enough for all 5 of us who stayed. The beds and towels are super comfortable

Myla's place is private and nestled in the woods. The beautiful surroundings offer great sunrises and sunsets, and it was fun watching the deer browse around the back yard. It's close enough to the ski slopes we made first tracks on our 2nd ski day! The hot tub is amazing and easy to access. The amenities are perfect, and it feels like a home away from home. We'll be back!

We loved the home. The weather was iffy with the winter storm coming in and we had to leave a day early. But that’s not her fault!!! The cleaning could have been better; especially the tops of furniture. And the water took forever to heat up in the master bath…all in all it was a great place in a great location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Views are beautiful in the snow!

The pictures do not do this property justice….the home & landscaping are awesome! It was too cold & windy for us to spend much time outside but that swing sure looked inviting, lol. And those who ventured to go out loved the hot tub! We booked Michael’s place bc our daughter’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year and having the double ovens, along with many pots & pans to cook with definitely made that task doable! One thing I wanted to share bc it’s usually important for our group when we travel, is the bedroom locations. Bedroom 1 is the only one located on the lower level. Bathroom is unattached. Bedroom 3 is the primary on the main level, with an attached primary bathroom. Main level also has a half bathroom. Bedroom 2 & bedroom 4 (bunk room) are on the upper level. Upper level tended to be a little cold for us while sleeping, but again, it was super cold & windy during our stay. And running the main level fireplace forced that hot air upstairs. We had a great & relaxing stay!

Second stay. Wonderful place for larger groups/families. Winds knocked power lines down & small fire started. Brittany not only messaged me to make sure we were okay, she also sent her dad over to check on us! Can’t ask for a better host. This is home away from home.

Bridget is a great host. She responds quickly for all your needs. Home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Beds are clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back on my next trip!

Amy’s place was just what we were hoping it would be for a place to stay during a two day ski trip to Beech Mountain. Listing was just as described. Amy very friendly and helpful.

Nannie's Nest is such a wonderful little find! We were extremely comfortable throughout our stay. (If a good comfortable bed is important to you, rest assured, you will be very happy here!) Our pup enjoyed the fenced in yard and lots of fun places to sniff. The home is squeaky clean, Eunice and Grace were very responsive, and we had all the privacy we could have asked for. It's about a 25 minute drive to Beech Mountain Resort, which is a huge plus for us, too. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great place, great hosts. easy to find, everything is great, the owner left detailed instructions, everything is clear. in the yard there is a great place for a fire, grill, rest area, everything is organized. a wonderful place with a view. today it snowed and it reminded us of our home in Russia.

Kevin was a very friendly host and his wife even made us cookies and offered to make us breakfast. Very sweet people and we will definitely stay again.

Thanks for another great stay with even better views of the mountains in the winter. Enjoyed time in nature and with the wildlife right off the deck.

It was the perfect place for me to rest each night after a long work day. Quiet, clean, and all the comforts of home. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to stay there again.

We loved our stay at New Direction!! The hot tub was wonderful after our long hike, and we also really enjoyed the fire pit and just the peacefulness of it. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kendall’s cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. Location is great. Very close to Hawksnest Snow Tubing park and only a short drive to Banner Elk. We would definitely stay here again! A few recommendations for future guests: 1. You may want to go old school and print out directions as our GPS lost signal so we had a little trouble finding the house the first time. 2. The driveway is a bit tricky especially if you have more than 1 car. 3. The hot tub is a nice benefit and fits 2 adults comfortably.

This place is beautiful and was so clean! The host allowed us to go in two hours early! It’s quiet and a great spot!

It was raining lightly when we arrived, we had no idea Hurricane Helene was also coming to the mountains. We lost power the second day and water, Kenny and heather came to check on us and brought us a propane stove to cook on and boil water. This community has been hit hard by the storm, but it was incredible to see how quickly people came together to help each other. Kenny knew someone who had satellite internet and solar power, and they were happy to let people use it to get messages out. Another person had a satellite phone and offered to send messages for people. There is a local monastery, and the monks worked hard to clear the roads of mud and debris. When this area recovers, you must show them some love and support. The property is beautiful and the area is worth a trip. Please pray for them.

This little cabin is absolutely adorable.. it’s nestled back in the woods very quiet, serene and peaceful .. impeccably clean.. and just warm, cozy and inviting!! I would definitely stay here again… I don’t have anything bad to say about this little cabin because it was so amazing ! We’re very appreciative to have been able to stay here. Love, loved it ! Thanks again !!!

Perfect spot for me and my friends to stay while snowboarding for the weekend. Full kitchen grill and fireplace was awesome to come home to when we finished for the day. Stayed nice and warm in the cold weather and the washer and dryer was a big plus.

Our experience at this Airbnb in Newland was simply amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything we needed, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The amenities were a huge plus: every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to make us feel comfortable and pampered. The decor of the place is stunning, with great attention to detail, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. We felt at home from day one. One thing that made our stay even more special was Andrea. She was attentive to us the entire time, ensuring we had everything we needed and making sure our experience was flawless. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and memorable stay. We will definitely be back!
