Short version: If you're seeking a place to stay in metro Detroit, look no further. Book this gorgeous, comfortable, well-equipped spot. You'll be glad you did. If I were to dream up a perfect place to stay, I wouldn't dream a single detail differently. And Erica and Daniel are fabulous hosts. Perfectly responsive and just a beautiful vibe. The exquisite interior design, the utter comfort, the sustainability/garden setting, the attention to the tiniest details—superb. Motion sensor nightlights guiding your way, extras for you in the bathroom, plenty of closet space / shelves, great Wi-Fi and workspace, all you need in the kitchen to prepare meals, lovely dining area, wonderful views from windows throughout. This is a brilliant area for walking. And you'll be very close to a couple of grocery stores, a health food store, restaurants, a CVS, a gift shop, a bookstore, and much more. The Homestead is a big, welcoming, earth-loving hug, and all who stay are fortunate to be in on it.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Walkable to downtown Clawson and lots of great restaurants. We really enjoyed Sabbath Coffee, Barbs Pasties and Pizza, and noble Fish to name a few! The house is right next door to the parking lot of a busy restaurant which was very exciting for our dogs- good to know if you’re bringing pups. Molly was a fantastic host- super responsive and helpful with the few minor issues that came up during our stay. My husband and I were both working remotely so experienced a few slow times with internet but nothing major! We enjoyed having the ability to do laundry at the house. Would definitely stay again, thanks so much for having us!

The family had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The location was great for us, and everything was well stocked to make our stay enjoyable. The only small surprise was having to shovel the snow myself, as I expected a snow service to handle it. I had to go to my own home to shovel as well. I didn't mind shoveling, but a snowblower would have been helpful in the long driveway. That being said, it didn't take away from the overall experience, which was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
