Cottage vacation rentals in Block Island Sound

This was hands-down one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever rented. Janet’s cottage is a great place to visit in the cool/cold months. There are so many cozy things to enjoy, the hot tub, the soaking tub, the fireplaces. Janet spared nothing - every little detail, like remote control battery tea lights and a massage chair, added to the experience. And located so close to all those great shops and restaurants, but set in a delightfully quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to return!

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

We loved this cottage! It was privately tucked behind bushes which made it feel like our own escape from the world. The hot tub was awesome. We really enjoyed the record player. The space had so much charm and the beach was beautiful. Thank you so much for such an idyllic stay!

This house was so beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed our time there. Super close to main st in Southampton. We rented a car and it was super easy to get around. But in the winter time, this house is the perfect place to hunker down and read or watch movies. The best!!

This is a great cabin for an intimate cabin trip with friends or family. Everything is as pictured and the host is friendly and proactive. The hot tub and fireplace are perfect and the area is gorgeous! Definitely would recommend!

My girlfriend and I had a great vacation staying here! The place was so cozy and had everything you can think of. Leann went above and beyond for us the whole time, and even helped make our anniversary so much more special! Next trip to Rhode Island I definitely want to stay here again :)

We loved our stay at the Bayside Retreat! Christina was so accommodating and welcoming. She had snacks waiting for us on the counter and everything was neatly organized and labeled. The house was exactly what we were hoping to stay in for our weekend getaway on the Cape. The neighborhood was very quiet and the hot tub was so nice! We will definitely be coming back to experience Cape Cod in the summertime!

Wonderful cottage. Immaculately clean. Great esthetic. The kitchen is well appointed with excellent appliances. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking this wonderful space again!

We would definitely recommend Deb’s and Sharon’s cottage as a place to stay. The location is great, as it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the water, but is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood so it still also offers plenty of privacy. They were wonderful and responsive hosts and checked on us throughout our stay, though we didn’t end up needing a thing. They were gracious enough to allow our dog Bella join for the weekend too, which we appreciated very much as she goes everywhere with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely look to book again if we make our way back to the beautiful island!

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, including the beds. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet very accessible to hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Fiona was extremely friendly and helpful. She is definitely a Super Host! We would happy have stayed longer if we could have! For those who like to ride your bike: Rt. 127, the main road that goes around Cape Ann, is very narrow and has no shoulder, so I don't recommend planning to bike there.

We were so happy with our stay. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The property was beautiful, and tranquil. The breakfast was delicious, the hosts were consistently available if needed and it was super close to so many things to do. We will definitely return.

I had a very enjoyable late November stay at Meaghan's place with my daughter, grandson and dog. Her cottage is very comfortable and in great shape. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything works well. There is a small, lovely conservation area right at the end of her street and the beach is within easy walking distance. Meaghan's communication before and during our stay was great. One thing to note: the bedrooms are two steps down from the living room level. This was not an issue for us but someone who has trouble with steps or who has a toddler along should be aware.

We had a great time in Provincetown and the cute cottage is steps away from Commercial Street and all the great bars, restaurants, clubs and entertainment. Our two small dogs enjoyed the enclosed back yard. Despite being so close to town, it was quiet at night. Having a designated parking space was a big help as it can be hard a times to find parking. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay and sure some areas might be starting to show their age but you are as so close to town, having parking and plenty of space which makes it a great find.

We had such a great time at the cottage. The place made our trip perfect. Thank you Jennifer for being such a kind and communicative host! The place looks just like the pictures and feels so homey. We loved every second of staying here, we will be back again!

Such a cute cottage! Very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the area - we were there to enjoy some biking and there are some great trails nearby. There is quite a bit of road noise (trucks, sirens) from the nearby highway - this was not noticeable inside the cottage but while we were on the deck. But it's still very nice to sit outside - we saw geese, swans, osprey, and gulls. A very pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

We had a great stay! It was so cozy and comfortable! We were so happy to find a place that was also dog friendly with a fenced in yard. Super super close to everything. We went when it was very cold and in the off season but still walked through town and had so much fun! Really felt right at home!

We loved our stay at Amy's cottage! It was exactly what we wanted, private and romantic and a perfect base to explore the Cape. If you appreciate the extra touches like real cotton sheets and a homey but tasteful atmosphere you will not be disappointed. Would highly recommend!

House is small but well-organized and nicely decorated. Appreciated the electric tea kettle and Keurig. Tub and shower was one of the nicest we've seen in a rental. It was a short drive to the beach and good eating places. Glad we could bring our dog.

We had a family medical issue that forced us to reschedule our plans. Marilyn was so helpful and professional in working with us to change dates and work around our situation. Such a wonderful thing to know there are people out there who want to help as much as anything. Highly recommend her and her property.

Cozy warm - despite a polar vortex! Roomy for adult family members no one felt confined despite the weather.

We look forward to staying at Stephanie’s Cider House every time we book and find it a magical place.
