The house where the apartment is located is in the second row to the beach. There are many restaurants nearby and also opportunities for shopping. The apartment is on the first floor and has a small balcony overlooking a well-kept courtyard with a large mango tree and many other plants. We very much enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable in the apartment.

Very cosy apartment, exactly like in the pictures. Very responsive and friendly hosts, would definitely recommend it!

The apartment and the entire complex are just perfect: easy and uncomplicated communication with the hosts, clean, well located and equipped with everything you need. We also could check out late because of our flight without having to pay extra. Thank you for a wonderful week with you!

Simply fantastic. We stayed for six weeks, but it wasn’t enough :-). Geraldine and Jean are very kind and helpful hosts, and everything was perfectly arranged. Communication was beyond excellent. They were always willing to help and advise us with everything, from the transfer to renting a vehicle. I highly recommend renting through Geraldine you’ll get a much better price than at rental companies. Early and late check-in/out was a huge help for us. The apartment was beautiful, exactly like in the photos. You have to experience the ocean and beaches to truly understand them. The nearby Mont Choisy beach was unbelievable. Reliable internet connection. What I must emphasize is the generator. It’s not mentioned anywhere, but power outages happen relatively often in Mauritius. Since the apartment has a generator, electricity is always available. This is by no means a standard feature.

Accommodation description was exactly accurate. Host was present at checkin and checkout, constantly making sure all is well.

Great place to stay. Sidick was very helpful and nice. Enjoyed talking with Sidick. He gave a lot of information and was very friendly.

Wow! What a beautiful apartment in a truly wonderful location. Very well appointed, especially the kitchen which was great for us as we like to BBQ. A special mention for Pamela who is just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay and plan a return. All as described traditional home. Friendly host offering local Knowledge and advice. Beds very comfortable. Outstanding views from patio, could lose yourself all day watching the boats.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and private place in Mauritius. It’s peaceful and quiet, with direct access to the beach—just a few steps across a small lawn, and you’re in the sea. The house itself is stunning, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The parking area is spacious and easy to access. The palm trees on the property add to the tropical vibe. The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

The location was wonderful - with the gorgeous blue ocean literally steps away from the lawn. The position of this property is at the end of a very long swimming beach, so it’s more private. The sea view from the property is stunning, so it’s lovely to relax in the garden, enjoying the views, having a braai & easily popping into the clean cool ocean & there is an outside shower. The snorkeling across the reef is a must!! All the water sports are available via the public beach area which is an easy walk along the beach. Chez Popo supermarket is 100m away & offers everything one needs. Unfortunately, one needs to be aware that presently there are building sites on both sides of the property. Progress & new buildings are inevitable however, it does disturb the peace which is rather unfortunate. Despite this, we managed to shut the noise out & not let this spoil our holiday. Overall, we had a really fun, active, relaxing family holiday & will be back. Thank you Naila.

Julien’s house was beautiful! The garden leads directly to the beach and we watched amazing sunsets from there . The kitchen was well equipped and the house was spotless . The area is quiet and peaceful . Julien was very responsive and dealt with our questions quickly . All in all, the perfect, relaxing stay !

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The house was absolutely perfect, with plenty of space, modern amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. The highlight for me was the private swimming pool – it was the perfect way to unwind after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, the private access made it so easy to enjoy the sand and surf without the crowds. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. They were always quick to answer any questions and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions. Overall, this property is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it enough! Would definitely return for another relaxing getaway!

It was our first stop in mauritius. We planned to travel around the island and stay 2-3 days at each spot. Rajesh was super helpful in organising a scooter and always had good tips. He and his wife even invited us to a dance at their neighbour's weeding (sadly we missed it). Anyhow, great place to stay with some kind hearted hosts. Wish you all best Luca & Stephanie

We had the most wonderful stay in Mauritius. The apartment was better than we could have imagined. The location is incredible with the pool and beach right on our doorstep. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. Tatiana went out of her way to accommodate us and are very greatful for her kindness. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to return. Firstly, thank you very much indeed for the flowers and food pack - Really appreciated - THANK YOU! I must also say that Brendan (Manager) was brilliant and has the patience of a saint, but made sure we got what we needed and gave great advise in the process. The icing on the cake was the proactive approach he took to recovering my phone, which I lost on the beach. A god send. I also have to say that the daily servicing of the apartment was excellent and appropriately done - we never felt an invasion of privacy or interruption. The lady has a very respectful attitude and thorough in her role and duties. As for the apartment and the location was perfect for us, taking full advantage of walking between 10 - 14 KLMs of beaches daily - E1 was perfect and loved the location within the complex. The complex is clearly very well managed and the pool in perfect order 24/7, clean tidy, well presented. Small things but make the icing on the cake for an exceptional holiday. Will be back!

what a gem of a place. easy parking, easy self access arrival. stunning beach right nearby. at the end of the flic en flac restaurant strip so perfect location really. perfectly serviceable supermarket with good opening hours in town too. ian answered all our questions and helped us out great!

Such a luxurious quiet apartment. We fitted with all our kids very comfortably and all slept so well every night for a week. Walkable to a great bakery, restaurants and cafe and the pool was so close to apartment which made it very easy. We will definitely be back again as the host and location and apartment were all amazing.

We’re a family of five and have kids between 2yrs and 7 yrs. It was the perfect place to stay at, Sarah and Rebecca were very friendly and helpful. We can 100% recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay. It’s very modern and has all the things you need. We recommend getting a rental car during the stay here. I’d love to come back if we’re ever planning on staying in grand baie again!

unforgettable family stay in Shannon's apartment, we were hosted very well. The apartment is charming and tastefully decorated with very good bedding. the location is ideal 3 minutes from the pool / beach on foot. Access to resort services is a real plus.
