The place is beautiful and quiet. If you want to stay in a peaceful environment this is a perfect spot. The host Akshay ji is very friendly and accomodating. Our chef Tara bhai and the caretaker dheeraj bhai were amazing and not forgetting the food. It was fresh and very delicious. They helped us with bonfire one night. It was hard to say goodbye to this hidden gem. I have created a best memories before flying back to Australia. Thank you for this amazing experience. Will be returning for sure.

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . The apartment is located in a peaceful setting with great views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Great place to consider for long terms stays if you crave peace and quiet.

Wow! I booked for a week but added a second week. That says it all. Ramesh is an amazing host: very friendly, speaks good English, non-intrusive but always ready to help with anything you need. The home-made food is delicious. The kitchen has everything you need so you can also make your own food. On clear days, the views of the snowcapped Himalaya are mind-boggling. It's a walk to get there but once you do, you do not want to leave. It's a little outside Almora which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough and will definitely come back.
