Monthly Rentals in Bilsdale

We have just returned home after spending 2 nights at the annex over the Twixmas period. What a fabulous property this is. It was so warm and cosy. We truly appreciated the addition of the Xmas decorations, along with the wonderful welcome hamper provided. We met Sheila on our final day and so pleased to meet in person. Lovely lady and truly a super host. We would highly recommend this property for all your holiday needs. A true home from home in a great location, close to all the amenities in Bedale. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Airbnb cottage, and I must say, it felt like a warm hug from the countryside itself. The Setting: Picture this: you drive down winding lanes, past rolling hills dotted with sheep and gliders flying above , until you find this charming stone cottage, almost hidden by the beauty around it. It's like stepping into a scene from a Jane Austen novel, but with all the modern comforts you could want. The Cottage: The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the comforting warmth from the underfloor heating the horses smiling at the gate to greet us and a nice surprise from our host Lucy a cake bread butter and milk! The beds were so comfy and it was silent just what we wanted. Helmsley is a short trip and we did plenty of walking around the area. Lucy was always on hand to help if we had any questions. A great relaxing break would throughly reccomend the cottage to anyone wanting to visit North Yorkshire Thank you everything ❤️

Had a great stay with my wife at the Nibblet for a couple of nights across new years. A 10 minute drive from Helmsley it was an ideal location to stay somewhere peaceful and have somewhere local nearby for food/drinks/shops. It was a lovely experience waking up seeing the horses around in the fields, especially the shetlands that were right next to the hut! The Nibblet was small and cozy, the heaters soon had the place nice and warm. Faye and her partner were very helpful when I struggled getting the fire started, nothing seemed an issue and they were always happy to help. Would recommend to anyone wanting a few nights away to escape to a peaceful and beautiful location to relax. (Also recommend trying La Trattoria for food).

This was one of the best Air B&Bs we have stayed at. Stylish and immaculate. Pictures etc are all thoughtfully chosen and located. So clean and also very welcoming. It was wonderful to be in such a peaceful location . It was also ideally positioned to visit all the places we wanted to. The weather outside was frosty and freezing but inside was warm and cosy. Showers are always important with us, and this one was powerful, perfect temperature and plenty of room to manoeuvre. There was even exquisite bottles of marmalade, butter and milk - not always something you get from more selfish hosts. It says it’s ideal for a short stop over but we think you could stay for longer than that, as clever planning re space means you don’t feel cluttered or hemmed in. The bed was superb, as was the duvet. Everything was unfussy and with a real rural vibe. We enjoyed it so much we are going to return in the summer. A classy place.
