Monthly Rentals in Bilbul

We secured the property for 8 weeks for my Son who needed to be in Griffith. The property was as described and very clean and tidy. All amenities included and personal check in process experienced. Proximity to everything needed. Host was responsive and very friendly initially. The challenges came towards the end of the stay when there was a message containing an accusation of my Son having his partner at the property for a full week (it was 2 nights for Valentine’s Day weekend) and host demanded further payment for her attendance. The accusation came only a matter of hours after she arrived. The neighbours were unfriendly and clearly the host was monitoring the property daily, both of which made us quite uncomfortable and alert for the remaining 2 weeks. We paid for the 2 nights as required (noting there was no additional burden or cost to the owner for her having been there) however we did feel that my Son’s privacy and right’s had been infringed.

A nice spot to stay for two nights while attending events in Griffith. We enjoyed the 25 minute scenic drive through some wineries in between the two towns and found the value for money staying in this large 3 bedroom loft to better than staying in Griffith itself. We usually find the quality of food and coffee in smaller towns can be a bit hit and miss but we were extremely greatful that It had a nice friendly cafe one block away with good coffee and an Italian restaurant downstairs for dinner that you would easily go back to even if there was other options around . Very approachable and friendly hosts also made for a comfortable and easy weekend away.

I had a beautiful visit at The Pods - Richard and Jenny are wonderful hosts; very welcoming and kind, and they have created such a peaceful and cosy place to stay. Only a short drive to the main town for anything you may need, but the Pods are tucked away on a beautiful property, complete with duck pond and all other manner of birds singing to wake up to 🤗 🦜 ☀️ lovely comfy bed and all amenities as described.
