Places to stay in Big Stone Gap

This was a last minute (literally) trip to Cherokee Lake and Bob and John were very responsive and the check-in instructions were very easy to access the gate and the front door. The space was exactly as described on the listing. It was only 2 of us so we can't speak to the comfort of all the rooms but there definitely wasn't a shortage of space. It's a very large condo and a large family would still feel comfortable here. We visited in Feb so we didnt use the pool or the lake but if we venture back we'll definitely check to see if Bob's place is available.

We enjoyed our stay in Bean Station. Cliff was very helpful and always available when we needed something. Would definitely come back❤️

The home was amazing and beautiful, perfectly described! Very secluded, you can’t even see your neighbors! We enjoyed the fire pit a lot, it was definitely a great reset trip!

Michael’s house was a wonderful find. From the cleanliness and comfy feeling to the beautiful front porch and back yard. You feel right at home. Personally loved the modern look in the country cabin vibe. Amenities were just how described. With a well stocked kitchen. The pack and play. The highchair. The spacious bedrooms. Clean bathrooms. Michael’s place had everything you would need for your stay. Really a home away from home. The hosts were extremely responsive. Positive and diligent to make sure any needs we needed were met. Came for a short weekend trip and it was absolutely as described! The place felt very clean and well taken care of. Host was very helpful and communicative and was willing to reasonably accommodate our worries of traveling during the winter storm that passed through the day of our check-in, luckily we ended up making it! I would absolutely visit this property again.

In a word, serene. it was spotless, quiet, roomy. The animals even made appearances, squirrels, deer, birds galore. the hot tub was great after long days of sight seeing and antique shopping. my only complaint was there are not enough stars to give as a rating.
