Vacation rentals with lake access in Berkshire

We've just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Aimee's little gem of a place and it was everything we hoped for and more. It was clean, quirky and the boat access was a real treat! Thank you for your hospitality Aimee! You and your place were marvelous!

Matt & Neil were amazing end to end! The house we stayed in was gorgeous, well decorated, well equipped and located. With some research (in Feb half term) there was plenty to do & see. We enjoyed local pubs/cafes and went rafting which was so fun! 🤩 The beds were comfy and the hot tub was super clean and lovely! We will go back for sure. Thank you Matt & Neil!

The house is spotless, beautifully decorated and has everything a large group with children need. Having the view of the lake adds to its charm and our little ones loved watching the ducks and swans swimming by. There is lots to do in the village from swimming to water sports, tennis and little soft play with exclusive use for the little ones. We would love to revisit and definitely recommend.

I've just spent the most wonderful weekend at Liming Lodge. I was looking for somewhere in a beautiful location, where I could spend the weekend of my 50th birthday celebrating with my amazing friends, and Liming Lodge did not disappoint. It's in a fantastic position, with a lovely view of the lake, and we really enjoyed watching the birds feeding outside the lounge doors and the murmuration of starlings over the lake. The lodge itself was brilliantly set up, with seating for everyone, comfy beds and really nicely refurbished bathrooms. Couldn't fault the facilities. We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend and I was very sad to leave. Communication with Sarah and Linda was fantastic, and I can only highly recommend staying at Liming Lodge. You won't regret it!

Lovely place, clean and decorated very nicely. Lots of games etc which was a bonus for the children!

A really beautiful stay, everything was perfect. It was super clean, well equipped, spacious and had stunning views. We celebrated our dads 70th Birthday and they had left us cake, card and drink which was a very thoughtful and kind touch. Really fantastic place and we hope to stay again in the summer! Would 100% recommend.

Had a wonder stay at Matthew's place for a few days, the photos do not do it justice! Definitely home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Matthew was very flexible with a few additional requests that we had.

A beautiful warm, peaceful and cosy home, everything we needed as a family of four over Christmas. James responded to my messages quickly and the whole trip was hassle free. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommend.

The apartment looks brand new, it s super clean and the view is absolutely AMAZING. We booked the place for two nights to see Taylor swift on wembley and we had a BLAST🫶 it very easy to get anywhere as it s 2 min walking distance from subway. The host were very kind and even gave us tips on what to do around the neighbourhood. Thanks for everything. Highly recommend.

The perfect place for our mini-break. The apartment was very clean, cosy and just as described. Everything that we needed for our stay was on hand. Terry & Elaine made our arrival easy and welcoming, with a pint of milk in the fridge and a few choccies to enjoy. They provided plenty of helpful ideas for things to do, and local walks. A very restful few days.

Five star accommodation in a peaceful residential setting a walkable distance from town. Bed was very comfortable and the heating made it feel cosy, even in January. Ample parking. Felt very safe.

Our family and my best friend who had travelled all the way from Australia, stayed in Steve and Allison's beautiful home. My friend stayed in the 2 storey apartment.

Beautiful location, gorgeous apartment and the extras meant a lot, cereal, bread, eggs, tea and coffee. Very clean and comfortable, I would highly recommend.

This was such a beautiful comfortable place to stay, just like home from home. We have stayed in a few air b &b s and this was by far the best. Arthur and his wife were so accommodating and we had everything we needed for our week long stay. Beautiful comfy bed which was very much needed, everything amenity you could think of was there. Thankyou for letting us stay Arthur it was lovely.

Our stay was very peaceful and the surrounding gardens and paddocks were beautiful to look out onto. We enjoyed identifying the visiting birds. The property itself was homely, relaxing and well equipped. The bedrooms were especially spacious and the shower was lovely! The location was perfect for visiting the Ashdown Forest and taking our children to see the sights of Winnie the Pooh!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Marion was incredibly accommodating & warmly welcomed us on our arrival . The cottage was perfectly positioned and Marion had gone out of her way to make us feel at home- especially with our toddler . Plenty of toys and baby equipment which was greatly appreciated. We loved the gorgeous courtyard and had a lovely stroll to the nearby cafe which was a great way to spend a morning with playground and great coffee! A wonderful trip and one we would love to come back to! Thank you

The most beautiful Airbnb ever. Would definitely recommend. Cozy and felt at home. Host was very welcoming and easy to talk to. We took walks at the Thames River in the morning and it was beautiful. Would definitely come again if given another chance.

Had a great stay at Linda’s. My family and I were visiting for a trip to Lego land. Perfect location and great for our family gathering.

Lovely peaceful cottage with all the amenities you could need. Very relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony with views of the lake was the perfect switch off needed. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. Small gestures like supplying shampoo, hairdryers etc helps the ease of packing. Nice touches with the board games too. Communication with Chris and Alexandra was effective and fast. Very friendly. The estate this is on makes this place suitable for families as well as couples. We used the outdoor pool, tennis courts, football pitch and sat in the resturant for a coffee but the beauty of this place is the cottage is tucked away from it all so if you want to switch off from it all you can. We took a 40 minute walk into Ashton Keynes following the Thames trail. Very easy to find and follow. Thank you Chris and Alexandra. We will be recommending to others.

We had a relaxing stay at the cottage. Our accommodation was comfortable and peaceful. Caroline had kindly provided some food and drinks for us, including pastries and sausage and bacon, which was much appreciated. The garden was secure for our dog, and our son enjoyed playing on the tennis courts. Caroline was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the local area, including walks across the South Downs, the seaside, and visiting areas of interest, such as Pooh Bridge at Ashdown Forest, and The Battle of Hastings. Highly recommend Caroline's cottage.

We had a great stay at Nantucket Lodge. Not only were there Christmas decorations still up that the grandchildren could enjoy but we arrived to find extra treats of biscuits and chocolates , a bottle of bubbly and basic essentials for breakfast drinks which we appreciated very much. Everything had been carefully thought out in the way of equipment and comfort and the kitchen was a delight. Beautifully furnished throughout with very comfortable beds and wonderful views of the lake. The grandchildren loved looking at the birds through the binoculars. The location is excellent for a local shop in South Cerney, and a restaurant is just a short walk away. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this air B and B.

My husband and I have a wonderful time at Sarah’s cottage. The space looks just like the pictures. Sarah was super responsive and greeted us when we arrived. She even set up the hot tub for us both nights (she told us we could message in advance to set it up, but she did this without us even asking ☺️). The kitchen had all the cooking utensils and spices we needed to cook in the house, which was super helpful. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back to get some time out of the city!
