Monthly Rentals in Beesands

We stayed a wintery weekend here with our toddler and labrador. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the log burner was put to good use and local beach walks. The cottage has a real home from home feel and nothing was lacking. We would visit again. Thanks Chris and Katie

We stayed at Jaquine's place for an extended weekend break. It looked exactly as on the photos and she was very friendly and welcoming. The village is quite remote but we liked that about it - we walked everywhere and just relaxed... Well, my partner ran an ultra marathon but that's her way of relaxing, I suppose.

The apartment was just as the photographs showed and we loved it. Close to the beach - so close you could hear the sea while lying in bed - and the sun shone which is a bonus. Torcross is small but beautifully formed. Bedding clean, towels plentiful, great instructions. Minor issues: No soap in the bathroom and only two loo rolls - we had to buy both. Only salt in the kitchen - nothing else not even pepper. I have stayed in other AirBnB and had a welcome pack - a couple of tea bags, a cake, milk. We arrived late afternoon and Torcross does not have a shop so no tea to drink after a 5 hour journey. And only 3 coffee pods - not enough for 3 adults for a week. I have also stayed in places where there are at least a few condiments to help. Some people like to cook when they're away and I had to buy things I wouldn't expect to buy on holiday. Maybe be a bit more generous with these little things to give this place a 5star ++ rating. But overall a brilliant week and an excellent place

We had a wonderful peaceful mini break in Rose Byre. Perfectly located to enjoy the coastal path, it is walkable to a number of pubs and cafes in Torcross, Slapton, and Beesands. We particularly appreciated how dog friendly it was, with bowls, treats and towels all supplied.
