We traveled to Bridge City for a college graduation at Lamar University in Beaumont. We loved the close proximity to restaurants, stores and the University. For people wanting to drive over to Louisiana, Lake Charles and the casinos are a quick 35 minute drive. The house and kitchen are well appointed. The backyard and access to fishing in the canal are great. Lots of fish biting. This would be a great family vacation home.

I had one terrible experience at an Airbnb in Beaumont last summer and had to take a chance on another one. Thankful I did with Ramona’s place! I’m so glad her listing is exactly how it’s advertised in both the pictures and the listed amenities. It’s a humble home that feels lived in, and it’s comforting in that way. The neighborhood is fine. Unfortunately, you’re right next to the train tracks so be prepared to hear them blare their horns very frequently through the day and night, but that’s out of the owners’ control — just be prepared! We loved the art and the stay was pleasant. Appreciated the garage access and helpful + timely responses from Ramona. Overall good!

Great backyard for a dog, we hung out on the patio a bunch and it was a very quiet stay. Had everything we needed for a 4 day weekend, would come back again. Was very glad for the enclosed back yard. Host was responsive when we asked about check out instructions. Linens actually smelled very nice and there was a dirty clothes hamper, was a plus for me.

I always stay here when I'm traveling in the area. Della's place is very comfortable! Not only is the host super amazing but the place is just as cool! The bed is comfortable. The wirlpool tub is very relaxing. And the coffee bar with a morning stroll in the garden is breathtaking!

Marlaya was the perfect host! She was quick to respond if I ever needed anything, and gave suggestions on local ammenities and even childcare. This was an extended stay so she frequently checked in to ensure we were comfortable. We felt at home and would definitely stay again!!!
