Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

We were in Sri Lanka for a month and those four days were our absolute highlight. The place is a dream with a huge window directly into nature, at night you could watch fireflies and also during the day there was always something to see, birds, monkeys and lizards. The complex has a beautiful well-kept garden and the staff are all very warm and helpful. The small pool was a highlight for our daughter and it was always clean! It was absolutely worth it when it rained for a day and you just stayed in the place. Would always come back! There's a lot of love in it 😊

The house was very good for a family of 5, amazing outdoor bathrooms and very comfortable beds, kitchen was awesome for the few times we cooked. Monkeys were very curious and in healthy numbers which was fun, the kids loved watching them play. Overall a great stay.

The villa is wonderful – spacious, stylish, and full of colonial charm. It has three full bedrooms, each with a private bathroom (two of them open-air), plus a large living area and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking. It’s just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to Mirissa Beach, a stunning spot, and 8 minutes to Cargills supermarket. Amila and Madara, who stay in a nearby villa, are wonderful hosts, always ready to help with anything you need. The breakfast is delicious – especially the traditional Sri Lankan option, which is a must-try! Sleeping is comfortable, though expect the sounds of nature rather than complete silence. Overall, a fantastic stay in a fantastic place!

Myself and my family spent five nights in August Beach House. It was the perfect place to chill out for a few days with everyone and surf. The house is right on the beach and the back garden gate opens onto the beach where there there are plentiful surf rental shacks and surf lessons to be had. The house benefits from a large shaded private garden and lots of communal space inside. Each bedroom has AC and an en-suite. There is also a private pool which was great for the kids and to cool down from the mid afternoon heat. Weligama is a good beginner location for surfing and I imagine there are more advanced surfing locations nearby and lots of bars and restaurants on the main strip although we tended to go to the same one or two places. Special mention to the August Beach House staff who made breakfast and did laundry, we did not want them to clean our bedrooms each day but they offered to do so! All round perfect house for chilling out and surfing on your doorstep.

We had a really nice relaxing stay at the villa which was absolutely stunning! We wanted to be in the town of Weligama close to the hustle and bustle and the beach, which we absolutely were however, we felt very secluded and private in the villa, and very secure! There are a few cute restaurants within walking distance (flow cafe right next door, layback, the local fish market with beach restaurants right across the street, etc.) as well as shops, etc. you could walk down the beach to the surf schools leading up to the area with more beach bars etc. The walk back home from Weligama beach towards the villa via the beach at sunset was our favorite way to end the day. We would definitely recommend staying here, the villa was amazing! Jalal was very helpful and responsive and also arranged our transportation to the airport.

I recently stayed at the Tea House Villa and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional. Check-in was smooth, and Mr.Isuru made sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the villa's pool area . The pool was well-maintained, with plenty of loungers available. The Forest and paddy fields was just steps away, The on- site chefs served delicious food, Overall, I highly recommend the Tea House Villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay. I would definitely return in the future! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.8/5)

We very rarely leave reviews on our Airbnb listings but it's important to share our great experience! The villa is extraordinary, the view, the calm direct access to the beach! Bianca is a more than attentive host, always available by messaging with lots of solutions during the stay but also to facilitate checkout! Unbeatable value for a service worthy of the very high-end!

Our stay at “K-House” was nothing short of exceptional. The cooking was outstanding, and the service was impeccable—always attentive, extremely friendly, and ready to help at any moment. The property itself exceeded our expectations; it was even more beautiful and thoughtfully designed than it appeared online. The nearby beach was stunning, and the manager, along with the entire team, made our experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond, organizing a magical New Year’s dinner under the palm trees, complete with fireworks—an experience we’ll cherish forever. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained, adding to the comfort of our stay. We would return to “K-House” just for the incredible team alone. Truly an amazing experience from start to finish.

My wife and I spent a wonderful 14 days at Punchi Doowa. What a magical place it is! It is impossible to put into words how special it is. All I can say is “GO!!” - book it right now - spend time there and experience it for yourself! One of the many highlights is the exceptional food that the housekeepers Umesh and Pubudu provide. Fresh, natural, local, excellently prepared and delicious. You will feel better for it! The location is great - extremely private and off the beaten track - but a fun 15 min bike ride from the beach. The local station is also a walk (25mins) or bike ride through the village and the train will give you a fun adventure and can get you to Galle / Weligama for next to nothing! We will be back!

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

The house is very nice and big, we had a very good time and the kitchen is big and hat everything we needed for cooking (: Also Ranjith is super friendly and helpful!!

Our stay at Garden Grove was a 10 out of 10. The apartment is super well maintained and spotlessly clean. It also got cleaned once again during our stay. It has everything we wished for (big fridge, we'll equipped outdoor kitchen, washing machine, drinking water, comfy bed, big bathroom). We enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking into the cute garden. The wifi was working well for us, even for video calls. The owner family is super nice and attentive. The environment is calm with some nice cafes and restaurants around. We definitely recommend a stay at Garden Grove.

Kalini's very spacious house with its wonderful garden is very close to the seaside which is a bit off the beaten track. We, and especially the children, particularly enjoyed Pollihena beach, which is just a 8 min cycle ride from Kalini. The house is well furnished and equipped. The support from Kalini's father was particularly great: he was on hand to give us tips and contacts, brought us fruit, and was overall very helpful.
