What a beautiful find in Blackwood! Started with a warm welcome from Karen and Rani (aka the doggie princess), showing us the place and all the amenities and how things worked. Old world charm of the b&b with everything you would want and need for a peaceful stay. Thoughtful touches - the kitchen in a cupboard pantry had more than any other place for breakfast and snacks. Immaculate clean with super lovely sitting area, comfy bed and views from the backyard (and front of house) were stunning forest views. Loved staying here and enjoying peaceful surrounds of Blackwood and bird life especially. Thank you Karen and Rani for creating and sharing such a beautiful space.

Great house in a great location - in the country but a short drive to lots of nearby locations. House felt in the country - could watch horses in the fields outside with not another pers9n in sight.

This beautiful Blackwood property is truly special. The lush garden, filled with incredible trees and vibrant birdlife...cockatoos, king parrots, kookaburras, magpies..provides a stunning, ever-changing display. The house is designed to bring nature indoors with windows framing the surrounding beauty. It’s well-equipped for a long stay, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a lovely bathroom. Just a short walk to the main street, Blackwood’s welcoming community adds to the charm. Communication with Frauke was prompt and attentive, making our stay seamless. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place.
