Elena was an amazing host...We booked at short notice and she was very accommodating and had the place ready for us in a couple of hours. The apartment is very warm, cosy and clean with the most equipped kitchen I have seen to date on AirBnB..! There is a lovely little terrace to relax on, the bedrooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. The location was very peaceful and in the middle of a lovely area, 5 mins to several beaches and with all amenities in the town of Unquera just a few minutes down the road. The parking garage under the building was also very convenient. All in all a lovely experience and I will highly recommend the apartment and area to anyone and everyone I know..!

Mari Carmen's house is in an enviable setting. Surrounded by nature and maximum tranquility, it allows you to totally disconnect from daily stress and enjoy its countless walking routes, as well as the fantastic restaurants with local dishes at really interesting prices Marí Carmen was always very friendly and was personally waiting for us on our arrival. He even gave us some milk bricks that we had forgotten to take. Being a small town, it does not have any shops where to buy basic necessities such as milk, eggs, etc... and it is necessary to move 20 minutes by car to do it. However there are several souvenir shops and typical products such as sobaos, chorizo, sausage, ... You can easily park next to the house as Mari Carmen provides you with a card that allows you to leave the vehicle in the historic center. If we return to Bárcena Mayor, we will definitely stay at Mari Carmen's place. Thank you very much and thanks
