Vacation rentals with a kayak in Baraga County

Our stay was outstanding. Loved the cabin and surrounding area. The only issue we had was that the cleaning person had put the welcome instructions in the pantry and it took us until the second day to find them. Normally this is easy to find on the countertop when you enter. No big deal, just a heads up to Ron/ Debbie and anyone else who might encounter the same.

This is a warm, old farm house on a beautiful property. My son set up his tent next to the pond on the property too. The house is clean, charming, and comfortable. Nancy has filled it with historical photos from the area <3 The kitchen is equipped with cookware and dishes, along with a fridge to fill with your own items. Houghton is a 15 minute drive up the road with a grocery store and restaurants. So you're in the woods but close to town. There are some great trails on the property, but there are also some spectacular falls within a 20 minute drive. We felt right at home and hated to leave! Thank you for the spectacular stay Nancy!!

Kathy's BE Lakeside retreat truly was just that for us this weekend. We were in town for sad reasons, but each moment we spent in the house brought joy. The local art that covers the house is interesting and beautiful. The record and book collections offer something for everyone, and each nook and cranny and shelf uncovers another unexpected amenity. The decor is unmatched, eclectic, fun, and homey. The kitchen is probably the most well stocked AirBNB I have ever been in. She even had a bar cabinet that included copper mugs and bar tools. We visited in the "off" season for the region so noise was absolutely not an issue during our stay, but I imagine that the neighbors would have to be pretty terrible to interfere with my enjoyment of the location or what the home has to offer. Breathtaking scenery, comfy beds, easy commute to Hancock/Houghton. Would definitely stay again.

Yassss! This place is amazing. If you’re thinking about staying, do it. The cabin is so calming and rustic but doesn’t feel like you’re going without. The landscape is so serene. Cozy does not begin to give this place justice. We wanted time to disconnect and explore the area, and this location delivered.

My husband and I came in on Christmas Day. Check in was easy and smooth with great communication! Fired up the sauna and had a wonderful stay! Dax was an awesome host, personable and inviting. I definitely felt like we were "at home" and comfortable due to his open communication! We plan to be back again!

First off, I want to start off by saying that I never leave reviews but had to leave a GREAT review this time. Our host, Rebeca was extremely accommodating, responsive, and so friendly! This beautiful house on lake Michigamme far exceeded our expectations; ranging from the spacious beautiful interior to the amazing outdoor fire pit. The kids also loved the tree house! Our bridal party stayed at the Airbnb the weekend of our wedding and couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place for all of us to get together. It truly is a GEM!

We loved our stay here! Our family of 16 was very comfortable and we loved being on the lake, having the hot tub, and a full kitchen to cook in. We would definitely recommend this place. Ryan and Teresa were very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to all my requests.

We had the most magical time staying on Pinecrest Northwoods to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! The cabin was so charming & cozy. We enjoyed walking around the woods. The sauna house was a dream & so relaxing. The stargazing at night was unreal, we could see the Milky Way & were in awe! Michael & Madeleine were the sweetest hosts, the kind of souls that feel like your friends. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

What an amazing spot! The Cabin felt like home as soon as you walked in, and was an absolutely amazing stay! For a short getaway, or a week long [or more] adventure; this is an amazing spot! I loved how roomy it felt, and the view in the main room for coffee was to die for! The host is incredibly responsive and helpful, and it will definitely be a spot that I recommend!
