Monthly Rentals in Balmoral Forest

The Holt is just amazing cottage in the middle od Cairngorms. We spent two days here, and we wanted even more. Everything was clear, tidy, prepared and cottage is cozy and cute. Lina cared about every detail and was really carefull. I can recommend this place for everyone who loves quiet places and nature.

Great base for exploring the area. Modern kitchen/bathroom, very well kitted out with anything you could need. Lots of nice places to eat within a short walk - we recommend The Bothy for breakfast/lunch.

We really enjoyed our stay. Derrywood is a short walk from the centre of Braemar. It is a great base for exploring the local area and hiking the Munros. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and well equipped and the hosts very accommodating, approachable and friendly. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful building inside and out, exactly as shown in pics. Easy to find, lots of free parking and right in the middle of the village. Really good communication - hosts were very accommodating and always quick to respond. Well stocked kitchen, plenty to keep you going if you intend to cook often. Very spacious inside. Lots nearby - shops, cafe, pubs, restaurants, etc all in Braemar with a decent Co-op in Ballater about 25 minutes away. Loads of walks from your doorstep - river side, forests, hills(Morrone is a great walk, fairly straightforward and incredible views), Braemar Castle. Lots to do just a short drive away too - Balmoral Castle, Mar Lodge, Glen Shee Ski Centre etc
