Monthly Rentals in Ballyhip

We had an amazing stay at Michael's cottage! Ann was absolutely fantastic, she greeted us with a freshly baked cake and fresh eggs from her own hens and she made sure we always had enough turf and helped us light the fire during this particularly cold spell. The cottage is warm and cosy and perfect in every detail and it's so homely we found it extremely hard to get off the comfy couch by the fire and get out to explore the beautiful surroundings, the stunning views from our windows constantly tempting us! Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!

We absolutely loved staying at Donal’s guest house! The location was private and hosts were super responsive and kind. Only about ten minute drive into Westport, and there were many suggestions for restaurants, scenic walks, and places to see in the area that Donal had left in the home. The bed was also VERY comfortable - which can be hard to find in Ireland bnbs. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful views of Croke Patrick and a short walk to Bertra Strand. Tavern restaurant (foot of Croke Patrick) and Staunton's pub are nearby - Westport is a short drive away. Hi speed wifi - would be suitable for remote work or to get away from it all.

I had such a lovely stay in the writers cabin! There is so much to do locally, with Westport town and the coast just a short drive away, and yet the cabin itself is extremely peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was fully equipped, which was important as I was cooking a lot, and the cabin was very warm and well heated (I stayed in December-January). Thanks for a brilliant writers retreat!
