Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bacliff

Went for a night since we were on a trip to Galveston and we decided to spend the night in just after open the door. Super cozy place. We couldn’t be more happier. Thanks a lot!

This rental has an open spacious feel to it, with plenty of room to move about. I especially appreciated the large bedroom closet with ample hangers and drawer space. The bed was extremely comfortable and made me realize it is time to get a new mattress for our bedroom at home. It was great to be able to walk to the park and sit by the water. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of antique shops in LaPorte. Phil and Deborah were great hosts. I enjoyed our over the fence conversations and look forward to returning to Hoots by the Bay

Without question, I consider my stay at this property to be the best air bnb experience I have ever had. In terms of synergy between property features, host, and location this property checked all boxes for me. Our arrival was seamless and the place squeaky clean. Brian, the host, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always responsive, and professional/polite. I stayed roughly four months and, if I have business again in Houston, would not think twice about rebooking. The property is located in the Heights area of Houston--a very nice, safe, area with plenty to do in terms of fun and restaurants for all people of all ages and preferences. In terms of practicality, this place is unbelievable convenient. HEB, Kroger, Walgreens, and Whole foods are all within a 5 min drive, which is an absolute blessing when facing Houston traffic. The large fenced in yard was great for my dog and that is not easy to find in Houston. I highly recommend this property to virtually anybody.

Good place to stay close to downtown Houston, very spacious home good fit for 5+ people. Clear instructions on how to get in, especially with pictures, that was so helpful. Clean and furnished home and restrooms, I didn't need to ask for anything extra it's all considered. Would stay here again if in Houston again. Oh and you can most definitely hear the loud train horn but earplugs are provided and I am used to a train horn but something to mention. A Kroger was within walking distance so that was very convenient. Good spot.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Scott communicated well before and during our stay. We loved the location so close to Rice Village. We will look to stay here again in the future.

We loved staying here and really enjoyed how close we were to the beach and Galveston!! Gretchen and Al were so quick to respond and very respectful to us throughout our entire stay. We will definitely be staying at this property again in the future!!

My son and his friends had a great time at the beach and in the house. The house was the perfect set up for these teenage boys. The kitchen is so well stocked with plates and silverware, I came prepared, but that was an added amenity. The showers were well stocked with shampoo and things which I always appreciate. I also appreciated having all of the fixings for coffee to enjoy on the front porch. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us.

Had a wonderful stay. Very well stocked. Hope to come back with grandkids soon they can enjoy all the extras. Felt very much at home. No clutter. Well decorated. Love the Jamaica Beach area. Would definitely stay here again.

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. Yahya was a great host . Responsive and accommodating. I had a minor hiccup but for the most part the house was beautiful. The pool doesn’t get hot enough so I didn’t get to enjoy it , however that may be due to the weather . Overall I would recommend and that massage chair was top tier…

Jonathan was an amazing host even thought some stuff came up, he was 100% responsive and attentive, the house was absolutely beautiful, we will definitely book the place again in the future!

This place is absolutely amazing. The hosts do an excellent job at keeping this place looking pristine at all times. This was our first time visiting but it will definitely not be the last. 100% recommended.

It was a perfect quiet weekend. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. The beach house has everything you need it felt like home it was so cozy. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, Travis is great and responds in a timely manner, house has everything listed, close to the beach, neighborhood is quiet and located within a few minutes of any necessities. Will definitely rent again if back in the area and there's availability!

Wonderful stay! Easy to get to and convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. The host is very responsive.

The Beach house was the perfect place to relax and refresh after the Christmas Holidays! The living spaces and beds are comfortable and the views of the lake and beach are peaceful. The kitchen and grill were well equipped to prepare all our meals! The house is a short walk to the beach which we thoroughly enjoyed. The neighborhood is quiet. We will definitely return to enjoy another stay on Bolivar!

Perfect! Home was clean & new. Host seemed local answered quick. Personal touches with suitcase racks, robes, cloth buckets to hold items for each person, ceiling & extra plug in fan, smart tvs and black out curtains in every room. Upstairs 2 guest rooms with 4 beds and bathroom. Downstairs is primary bed bath, big couch living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and half bath too. Outside preheated hotub, lounge sun chairs, couches, cornhole, bbq & firepit The sauna fits 2 people and warms up fast. Sauna turn on button is black at top touch screen and runs for a hour. The hot tub had curtains which helped keep sea breeze out to stay extra warm as we were there in winter for mardi gras. We loved using robes to wear after hot tub. The neighborhood is a peaceful street and few blocks from Seawall and gaidos and we even got late night food from pizza hut too. My friends staying with me were super impressed with amenities of stay.

Great host and great home, I loved it. We had horrible mosquitos so couldn’t enjoy the downstairs area at all - it was worse than anything I’ve ever experienced in Bolivar. Hope it’s just for a season! I prefer beach access via vehicle so that’s the only downside to this location for me. We wanted a get away to have time with family and this fit the bill perfectly.

Michael was a wonderful host. The house was perfect. Plenty of room very clean and the house had a great location, few blocks from seawall and 1 mile to the Strand for shopping. I asked Michael for local restaurants ( not tourist spots) he gave us a great list and the food at each was excellent. Michael was very quick to respond if I had a question. Highly recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again.

great place to stay on the island, Tiffany our host was very helpful and responsive in working an early check-in for me. the home was very clean,bright and comfortable, and neighborhood is quite at night. also should be noted that there are a few stores and eateries near the home that's all in walking distance. was a nice bonus. no complaints at all with our stay and would recommend to anyone.

I think the best way to describe this cottage is by describing what you can’t see in the pictures. 1. The beds are amazingly comfortable. 2. Ever have a problem with sleeping in during vacations bc of the light flooding into rooms at sunrise? Not here. The king room doesn’t have a window🩷. I am adding this in here because I know that so many will appreciate this feature. 3. The backyard is truly a den of privacy. The most skittish dog will feel comfortable & there are no neighboring dogs to amp up their anxiety. 4. The location! During our stay, I let my oldest teenager walk to the beach by herself in the morning. She felt safe at all times, and didn’t tire easily. 5. The plants! While you can see the beautiful, well kept lawn…you have to experience it to see the butterflies linger and flutter about. Bottom line- if you are on the fence about this place…go for it. I have never been so impressed with a stay (hotels included), in all of my years adulting.

THE LOCATION IS IN THE CENTER OF GALVESTON 47TH & R STREET , NICE NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE WITH PRIVATE DRIVEWAY FOR MEDIUM SIZE VEHICLE. PRIVATE WALKWAY THROUGH A GATE BACK TO THE HIDEAWAY. THE HIDEAWAY WAS COMFORTABLE AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED FOR MY STAY. CATALINA THE HOST ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS AND MADE MY STAY IN GALVESTON ANOTHER GREAT VACATION
