Vacation rentals in Axton

The place was clean, the beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. We enjoyed the kayaks, the bikes and the hot tub during our weekend getaway. We did not use the grill but it would be nice too at sunset. You’d have the view and the sunset while hanging out on the deck and grilling. There’s a large table for everyone to eat at. There are 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen is small but stocked with everything we needed. The coffee maker didn’t work well but we notified the Fred so I’m sure he’ll take care of that for the next guest. It was a cozy place to stay and gather with friends. Fred was very responsive and helpful.

Yes, the views of the lake, particularly the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets are spectacular but so is the stay in this incredible home. From the well-equipped kitchen with its coffee corner and wine cooler to the thick, comfortable beds, our stay was just what we needed for a January get-away. The wide opened floor plan with its entire wall of windows is perfect for entertaining or relaxing. I especially appreciated the easy access to the home. Pulling up under a covered carport and having just one step to maneuver with luggage was great. Thong was very accommodating and told us to let him know if we needed anything- but he has already thought of everything. We hope to get back and enjoy this gem again.

My family spent the week of Thanksgiving at the Lake house and it was so comfortable and felt like a home away from home for all 14 of us. Fully stocked with all kitchen supplies needed and that was helpful, since we cooked nearly every night. It was three generations of family all together and this place just made it even more magical. The sunsets, kayaking, nights at the fire pit and the beautiful walks throughout the neighborhood was to peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely be back soon 😊

Johns is an excellent host. We have stayed at his property at Mariners Landing several times. House is clean and fresh with plenty of space . House is on golf course with accessible pools across the street. Johns property is in a nice quiet area with lots of walking paths. John is very helpful and responsive to any questions. We will be back in May.

Pat and Mike were wonderful, stayed in contact and answered messages quickly. They sent extra supplies and fresh homemade cookies when we extended our stay. The farm tour was great, Mike showed us all the animals, all the cool places on the farm, and the kids loved the hayride and the chickens. We were able to collect fresh eggs each day. We loved seeing Gus each day. The home was great, they really thought of everything and it was great to have breakfast staples in the morning when we arrived late at night the night before. We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, and was a peaceful place to stay.

Joshua’s place is cozy and has everything you need. We booked it last minute as we live nearby and were out of power for several days. We couldn’t have been happier with how lovely everything was. The views of the lake are spectacular. The indoor gym and sauna were such a nice bonus, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable. Joshua was super responsive and even let us extend our stay for an extra night at the last minute. There’s a reason he has so many great reviews. Don’t hesitate to book his place!

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Vanessa and Elton's place is fabulous! Very clean, well-stocked kitchen, like a home away from home. It is evident that Vanessa is detail oriented as she had clear instructions for all aspects of our stay. The decor of the condo is beautiful, and the bed is comfortable. Beautiful quiet location and had a fantastic stay. Would like to return for a summer visit next time
