A lovely stay at a lovely location! Very peaceful and relaxing weekend at this cozy cabin.

Everything is just as described. Perfect place to disconnect from the world. Craig is an amazing host! I will definitely be returning next year. If you’re a fisherman, bring your gear. Plenty of pike in the lake but be advised entire lake is very shallow. Had good luck with a #4 Mepps-yellow/orange with a gold blade. Good cell service with Verizon. Dollar General just 5 miles away for any last minute needs. Thanks Craig!

We stayed in this place years and years ago several times. Back when it was cross-country cottage. There have been many updates since then. Very comfortable. Everything we needed to cook meals with quality cookware. Couldn’t be happier with the service and kindness we received.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at Joes place and it gets better every time. It’s very remote but with all the amenities you need to feel comfortable. It’s right in the heart of where we want to be, dog friendly, and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. Kudos to Joe for offering this fantastic place.

My boyfriend and I spent my birthday weekend here and LOVED it. It was so well kept and had insanely gorgeous scenery. We loved the little touches like the record player, games, and dvds for the tv :) Both of us agree we want to come back again!!

This is our second time renting at Hovey’s Bear Trap, and it won’t be our last! I mixed up a part of my booking initially, and I messaged them to see if there was a way to correct it. Within an hour I had a response and they fixed it for me. They are wonderful hosts and have a beautiful property.

Great host, the cinnamon bread is the best! Awesome secluded place in the woods, super quite and highly recommend it!

Danielle’s place was very easy to find, clean and spacious! The surroundings are very beautiful and it is just a short drive into town!

Amazing stay in a gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Even more beautiful than the pictures - everything was perfect, and the hosts made everything easy. Already want to schedule another stay.

The house was ideal for our stay in Marquette. It is a roomy house with the living area on the first floor and the three bedrooms upstairs. The rental was very clean and easy to check. Host was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

My group spent our yearly get-together at Cindy and Bob’s place and couldn’t have asked for a better time! We especially loved the views across the bay and the open-plan living space. Many memories were made and we’d be happy to return any time!

This home is marketed for summer, but winter is just as stunning. The wood stove adds an extra layer of coziness and warmth, making it the perfect retreat. Winter fires by the fire pit were unforgettable, and walks along the beach, adorned with Christmas lights, were magical. Celebrating New Year's in Marquette was the perfect way to close out the year. We will definitely be back!

Penny out did herself! We were gathering for a family Christmas, which we usually have at our home…Penny had decorated so beautifully, that we all felt right at home! The space was perfect, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and a great living area. We could all be in the same area, interacting and yet be doing our own thing! The house was clean, spacious and all the conveniences of home. For those of you that want to partake in the Marquette area, the location was convenient to town, Marquette Mountain and easy access for day trips. For us, we had a beautiful Christmas!
