We had a wonderful stay here at Aaron's place. Aaron was the best host! Super helpful with every aspect of our stay - booking cabs, restaurant recommendations, things to do, and even let us borrow his scooter. I left some things there, and instead of us driving and hour back to the Air Bnb, Aaron kindly left it with a friend nearer to where we were staying. The property itself is quite basic, but perfect for what we needed. I loved walking out the back door into the coffee plantations, and we were lucky enough to be there when the plants were flowering, so it smelled incredible! Just to note, the property is on a main road so can be a little noisy during the day, but was fine at night. It's also one part of an L-shaped house, so there is a family living adjacent although you are technically separate. You also definitely need a scooter or another mode of transport to get around as it's quite rural. We really loved our stay here, and would have stayed longer! Highly recommend. 😊

The bonfire kept us warm on the cool, breezy nights, adding to the charm. Our host, Sagar, was incredibly gracious and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He provided us with insightful local tips, from hidden waterfalls to the best places to savor authentic Malnad cuisine. The breakfast and dinner spreads were delightful, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and homemade delicacies. If you're seeking an authentic Chikmagalur experience, look no further. The Coffee Mist is a hidden gem that will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply connected to nature.

Overall a good place to stay in Chikmagalur. Pros: Near to the town Has Zomato and Swiggy services Quiet locality Has parking space Huge place that can easily accommodate 06 people Exceptional for this price Great balcony Kitchen with basic amenities for cooking Cons: Major tourist spots are a little far from here No in house pantry A work in progress Has super balcony but the view is not exceptional Overall one of the best possible stays in Chikmagalur if you love a modern stay.
