Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Atlantic Canada

We had a wonderful stay! Bruce and Donna were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The early breakfast time so we could catch the ferry to St. Pierre was appreciated. Donna made sure to introduce us to the other guests which made it so easy to share about our travels while around the breakfast table or at the bonfire. We enjoyed exploring/hiking around the Burin Peninsula. Excellent place to stay for a few days!

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

Being my second experience to rent an AirBnB, I took the chance of renting a room in a private home (instead of an apt or hotel room) that was close by to my family…and I am so glad I did! Not only did I receive a warm welcome from the owners, Lorelei and David, I was also warm welcomed by their 5 dogs. Being away from my animals, this was the best feeling ever! From our morning coffee chats, to smelling her delicious cinnamon buns as I woke up one morning, to seeing a fox pass their yard, to playing with a new rescue puppy, this is my new home away from home! Their Victorian home is clean, warm, inviting, and their book shelves/library room was a book lovers delight! Unfortunately, I was on the go a lot so I didn’t have time to enjoy a home cooked meal, but the cinnamon buns were to die for! I will be back for sure to stay with Lorelei, David, and their fur babies!

Shirley and Mac are fabulous hosts! I felt welcomed the second I was met at the door and feel like I left friends behind not just hosts. The house is lovely and it was wonderful to relax by the wood stove and spend time sharing stories. The bedroom is cozy, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom is immaculate (as is the entire house) The house is rural and so very peaceful yet just a quick drive to Belfast. I highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our first bed and breakfast experience! The daily two course breakfast was amazing and we all looked forward to the sweet afternoon treats. It was so convienent to have the Bowspirit bar at the BnB, the food was amazing and made dinner easy when we tired from the day. It’s definitely the peaceful side of the island but not a long drive to Bar Harbor. We had a lot of space, the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the outdoor space.

Pattie and Chris were a delight! Chris meet us at the gate and showed us around the cabin, returned with hot tea and an engaging conversation about wool (we are from Aotearoa, NZ and have a background in the world-of-wool) and other like minded topics. The cabin is cute, well lite (off the gid) and plenty of blankets for the cooler temperatures.

The Compass is at a perfect location in Trinity with a terrific view of the town. The loft is a fantastic room, very clean and beautifully decorated with easy access to the back deck. Alma’s breakfasts were very good and it was great interacting with the other guests each morning. Alma made us feel so welcomed and treated us like we were family. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Alma is and how much we loved our stay at The Compass. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Trinity.

We stayed one night with Greg & Delores after travelling from Newfoundland on the ferry. What a beautiful space. Everything was perfect, we were just sorry that we did not get to stay longer. The snacks and the bottle of Raspberry & Dragonfruit wine that were waiting for us in our room, was such a nice touch. Breakfast was amazing, thank you again Delores. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!!

such a wonderful place ; we felt so welcome and home ! the hosts were purely wonderful, kind and very opening! the breakfast was a 5 star world class restaurant, truly delicious! it was so nice to meet their furry compagnons ( huskys ) who are all so friendly!

Felt right at home here. It was very peaceful. The beach was a short walk down the road and so was the town. The host also gave us some great recommendations for where we were headed. Very helpful!

Kamal and Thushani are very gracious hosts who clearly take a great deal of pride and joy in ensuring their guests have the best stay possible. The rooms and common/dining area they provide are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was always a delight. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful weekend in Millinocket for the marathon. The B&B was lovely and super convenient to downtown. It was nice to socialize with other runners staying there, and the access to snacks and coffee was much appreciated on race weekend. We look forward to coming back next year!

This was a great place for an overnight stay after arriving at the Halifax airport. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The bnb is full of charm and history. A generous breakfast was an added bonus. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wow! To say that we were blown away by Diana and Azie’s hospitality would be a complete understatement! Everything from the wonderful recommendations to the absolutely gorgeous home, made our trip to Surry so special. If you are looking for a beautiful escape with lots to do, look no further! Diana and Azie took every opportunity to make sure that we felt extremely comfortable and at home during our stay. With lots of recommendations for what to do and see, we had loads to choose from each day. We were a close drive to plenty of local attractions, which made planning our trip that much easier. We absolutely loved our stay!!! We didn’t want to leave. Beautiful surroundings, super clean, private space. We loved the hot tub and used it every night. What a beautiful place to relax and spent quality time with our family! We will definitely be using this spot as our family get away every summer!

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! We walked in to see a yard and porch filled with gorgeous lights. When we entered, there was a fireplace on the tv playing soft Christmas music. These hosts pay much attention to detail, we could tell by the design of the suit itself, and all the fixtures and stunning decor. The hosts are incredibly gifted with hospitality and care, they added so many thoughtful touches. They made sure to provide everything we needed, and more. They even left water bottles, snacks, breakfast, coffee, and cream. The suit was quiet, peaceful, and spacious. It is in an excellent location. The bed was ridiculously comfy, and there was an electric fireplace on the wall in front of it which made it feel even more cozy. It was a short stay, but it was so relaxing and rejuvenating. The pictures don’t do justice. The jet tub is amazing. I can’t say enough about the place. We can’t wait to stay here again. We highly recommend!
