We sadly only got to spend one night in this lovely house, we would happily have stayed much longer if time allowed. It was a spacious home away from home for our group of 8 after a day in the hills of Glencoe. We had so much fun playing darts, pool and table tennis in the games room and the hot tub and the views were fantastic. The water pressure in the shower was strong and luxurious and the shower products were lovely too. I fortunately the King bed was as hard as the floor which I found impossible to sleep on, but some people might like a very hard bed. The bedding was spotlessly clean and fresh and there was even some extra bedding in the hallway closet which was really helpful. Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again (just in a different bed 😉)

Lovely clean place to stay, really comfortable and clean

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Our stay was exceptional. The property was in flawless condition and everything was as described. Tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable, spacious. Every need catered for and more. Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

Cottage was very well equipped with everything you would need for cooking your own meals. I thought it was a lovely touch that ruth had incuded everything from cleaning products, toilet tissue, kitchen roll. And also the lovely prosecco cheese and oatcakes that was left for us. We all had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future if we ever visit Arran again. Thank you Ruth for a lovely time.

Great place to stay while in Islay! So cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean and had everything needed. Kitchen was large and we enjoyed cooking a meal while staying here. Lots of kitchen necessitates. Host was friendly and instructions were clear. We were nice and warm despite it being cold outside. Loved being close to some of the distilleries and somewhat centrally located on the island for everything else. Great spot!

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

This was just what me and my friend needed. A couple of days away from working life and the stresses. Caravan was immaculate, had everything you needed and felt like a little haven and home from home

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at no 1 Eaglecroft lodge , it’s cosy relaxed and beautiful style was a true home from home , everything was just perfect , more than we expected, and we enjoyed every single day , we would love to return in the very near future , as we know and love the area so well , and we are already planning and looking forward to coming back to the perfect cosy retreat, peaceful and simply perfection , just what we needed , thank you .

The caravan was lovely, the park peacefully and the wee welcome book with hints and tips left by Angeline was a lovely touch.

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

A hidden Gem! Exceptionally clean & well kept property. Gemma was a fantastic host and was proactive with instructions on how to access the property and switch on the water supply and heating. Fantastic views out in front of the main house, a really short stroll from the cabins. The cabins themselves are very special for a wee get away. They even provided a doggy box with things we might need for the dog. Will definitely stay here again if we get the chance. The absolutely only thing is that it is quite close to road, so the birdsong is intermingled with a bit of ambient traffic passing noise. But nothing disturbing.

We had a lovely stay, was just what we needed, clean and comfy stay

The cabin was exactly as expected, I was worried that it would be tricky to find but it was obvious once we arrived! The space was great and had everything we needed, Catherine was a very responsive host and helped us out several times throughout our stay. Unfortunately we lost a day due to bad weather but we enjoyed a lovely, easy walk to the beach the next day and saw the islands and some seals, then enjoyed a local meal out so there are things you can head out to do too. The cabin is right next to the farm but due to the positioning it feels incredibly private. Absolutely lovely stay, and the bed was super comfy!!

Jill was a fantastic host and really made our stay perfect. I had a number of questions before arriving at the cottage which she answered promptly! The cottage is lovely inside, super clean and kitted out with everything we needed. There’s a lovely window seat and table that overlooks the quarry - the perfect reading and writing nook! As the island has no cars on it we made sure to bring what we needed (groceries) with us, but after realising we left an essential item behind (and the last ferry of the day had gone) Jill was incredible, going out her way to help - along with Allan who lives on the island. It saved our trip and also just made us feeling very looked after to know there were people around who could help! We wandered round the islands, went for a quick dip in the swimming quarry, had hot chocolate in the puffer and overall had a wonderful weekend winding down. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful house in stunning location, great host. The house was well equipped and the welcome pack was very thoughtful surprise and included everything for a tasty Scottish breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay here. The house was immaculate, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was slightly overlooked from an adjacent drive, but this didn't detract at all from using it, and I'm sure won't be an issue when the newly planted bushes have developed more. We will gladly return in the future!
