Note: dunno your mattress preferences but this one is very soft, no blackout curtains in bedroom so bring an eyemask.

This place was absolutely amazing! At night there’s deer walking around on the property, the garden is something out of a movie, the Airbnb was the coziest little place, hosts were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Honestly there’s so much about this place that was perfect and I can’t think of anything we didn’t like even if I tried. We’re more upset we didn’t get to stay longer if anything but we’ll definitely be back. Thank you guys!

This has been our second time staying at this property. We were in the front unit prior. Out flight was cancelled last minute so when I saw this place was available, I booked it immediately. They think if everything you could possibly need while staying there and the location can’t be beat. I’m sure we will be back.

A very nice place. In a great location, attractive and cosy with a patio outside. Clean and well furnished with everything we needed; a comfortable bed and nice linens. A great grocery store and cafe are very near, and there’s easy access to central Arcata. Christy provides lots of information and is very responsive to communications. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to stay again.

This home is perfect for a family! Plenty of communal space and the most well stocked rental kitchen we have ever had which was perfect since we made our Thanksgiving dinner there on this trip. The view from the home and deck is gorgeous!! We had an excellent stay.

The house was completely spotless. She supplied many things such as plates and extra towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place was decorated very comfortably.

The spot is perfect! Close to eureka and arcata but worlds away. Walks on beach all around- by foot or a couple of minutes by car. Place is impeccable, and hosts were responsive. I hope to come back to Humboldt and if I can, will be back here in this spot if paradise

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is clean and cozy, the outdoor shower is also super enjoyable. We brought our e-scooters and it was a quick trip to downtown for the farmers market and dinner. Highly recommend this location!

We had an amazing stay. We rented the room in her house and the tiny home in the backyard because there were three of us. Irene and her partner were warm and welcoming while also giving us the rest and privacy we needed. All the spaces were clean and warm and quiet and accessible. We were so comfortable and at home! Added bonus, her dog Cider is so sweet.

Arcata Nest is the perfect spot for any couple. Tiffany is thoughtful with providing an organic fruit tray a d chocolate covered nuts! The Nest is artistically beautiful and fun!

Perfect place for my transition while I was relocating. It was such a peaceful and comfortable place to make my home while in the process of buying a house in the area. Sara and Peter were wonderful hosts. They made me feel like I really belonged here. Exceptionally quiet and serene home. I couldn't imagine a more inviting place to retreat to while I worked through the moving process.

Diana was a truly lovely host - very kind and responsive, even helping me with a specific item I needed to assist my elderly dad. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant. The space was perfect and provided quiet and rest during my visit. I will likely stay there again as I'm in Arcata often to visit family. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Wonderful place for me and my dogs for the night. I was so comfortable! Great fenced in yard for my dogs.

Beautiful location, spacious and comfy accommodations. Bed was big and the blankets were warm. Visits from the neighbors cats was the cherry on top.

Book this listing - you won't be disappointed. We used this as a base camp to do multiple day hikes in the parks around the area. The ability to come home and then just walk to a great dinner spot - great. Place is well appointed for everything you may need for an extended stay (except washer and dryer, if that's a need). Super clean, no weird 'janky' things to deal with. Would stay again.

Chapman Cottage is a lovely Airbnb. The building has been beautifully redone. It was quiet and comfortable. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. The mattress, sheets, and towels were nice. Instructions were perfect and helpful. With the fireplace and heated bathroom floor, I was perfectly warm even during a windy storm. The hosts were very kind and helpful. There is a nice parking spot, and you can walk anywhere in Arcata easily. I can’t wait to stay again, this is the perfect place to stay in the area.
