Monthly Rentals in Arbigland

Arrived with clear directions where to find the bungalow , checking was easy enough, the property was very clear and spotless it was like home from home. Adequate kitchen utensils there was everything you needed for your stay. We really enjoyed our stay with myself my husband and our 3 Cavalier King Charles . We will definitely be back!

A stunning cottage spread across two floors, pet friendly with beautiful views and both morning and evening visits to the gate from sheep, lambs (Spring time only sadly!) Cows and Calves (Again we got lucky with our timings here!) The venue is clean and instructions were clear for our stay. Plenty of farm shops locally to source ingredients for the well equipped kitchen or local pubs for anyone wanting to relax and not have to cook. Dumfries is very close although we didn’t visit. The hosts were informative of local attractions and their communication prior to our stay was perfect. Our Dog Toddy loved the walks available and enjoying his walks up and down the lanes before bed and first thing in the morning. Location wise most things are a drive away… you’re in Scotland! It’s to be expected. We did make our way to Ruby Bay which was 3hrs but worth it to hunt for Garnets in the shale. If you’re looking to book here why not also look at trying gold panning at the Lead Museum!?

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Corner Mill Cottage! So much to do in New Abbey and the surrounding local area. We visited Sweetheart Abbey and had a guided tour of the Corn Mill. One of us walked to the Waterloo Monument! Great climb. We enjoyed exploring the beaches further south and Caerlaverock castle! Annandale distillery did not disappoint and the Maltings afternoon tea amazing!

Linda and Paul were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Everything was perfect. The studio was gorgeous - cosy, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed to make us feel at home. Location was amazing, being close to the shore, and those uninterrupted views of the sea were stunning. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend.
