Our stay was fantastic. Great location and house. Exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Highly recommend to anyone looking to fun a relaxing stay by the lake while close proximity to restaurants and only 25 mins away from downtown Charlotte. Will definitely be back😊

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

Beautiful roomy home. Loved the basement with a bathroom,bedroom, sitting area. Sliding back door to a nice patio with outdoor furniture. Exceeded my expectations in every way.

Staying here was a PERFECT place to enjoy the night while in Charlotte. The house was in a peaceful neighborhood and better than the description. Clean, spacious, and lots of individualized attention, even down to the candy waiting for us upon check-in. We loved it and are looking forward to coming back again next year!

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

Our family loved every second at this magical lake house! All three of our children wished we lived in Matt and Amanda’s getaway and never wanted to leave. It was clean, beautiful and extremely comfortable. They had every amenity we would need for a family of 5. We enjoyed steaks on their grill and all the cooking appliances needed for a nice meal from breakfast to dinner. The location is perfect for hiking and exploring the Uwharrie area. We can’t wait to come back to kayak and explore the islands on Badin Lake. Thank you Amanda and Matt for being amazing hosts! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Ms Allison’s property! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Miss Allison was a fantastic host—quick to respond and so kind. When we mentioned a small issue with a cover and the trash, she was incredibly gracious and immediately took steps to address it. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made our trip even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great stay!

quant and cozy. sheets were soft and clean and views were gorgeous. the pups were an added little perk as they were friendly and oh so sweet.
